What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We met all milestones on the required timeline. We tracked progress with regular updates and had real-time visibility on Figma and the project management dashboard Flowout provided for ticket and project tracking. According to PageSpeed Insights, the WordPress page scored 48 in performance, 85 in accessibility, 96 in best practices, and 61 in SEO. The new Webflow site scored 74 in performance, 89 in accessibility, 73 in best practices, and 100 in SEO. Moreover, we no longer need a developer to push new content; we can now do it in-house 100%.

How did Flowout perform from a project management standpoint?

Flowout did a great job with project management. They delivered everything on the expected deadline and helped keep us reminded of deadlines when the ball was in our court to deliver details or feedback. Our primary forms of communication were virtual meetings and emails or messaging apps.

Flowout helped jscreen rebuild our website using Webflow, implementing our new brand design and new content. Flowout also helps us maintain the website and build campaign-specific landing pages. Flowout also provided a comprehensive SEO audit with a hundred pages of detailed recommendations, and worked with us to implement the recommendations.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Flowout successfully rebuilt our website, migrating it to Webflow and implementing new UI designs and branding. Using their custom dashboard, we work on dozens of requests, ranging from updating content on the site to changing our pricing to developing campaign-specific landing pages. Flowout was our partner for a huge PR initiative that involved being featured live on national TV, helping us build campaign-specific landing pages and work out the webpage flow for event-specific orders. On the SEO front, Flowout also delivered a very detailed, lengthy SEO audit with lots of opportunities to improve our rankings.

The team is very responsive and flexible. They delivered items on time. They do not have a dedicated project manager, but a team leader acts as the project manager and go-between between the client and the developers.

The team is very smart and adaptable; they're there to help, and there is absolutely no fuss or drama on the team. They communicate clearly and work fast.

Sometimes the staging landing pages don't exactly match the Figma or have little errors. When I discussed this with the team lead, we made sure to comment on the pages in markup before we reviewed the staging site. This allows us to capture all changes in one place and provide a reference for the developer.

Initially I felt that the project management touch was too light and that our kickoff meeting was not well prepared. When I discussed this with our sales rep, the issue was fixed immediately. From then on, project management support was at just the right level for us. If our PM had to be out of office, we still felt supported by others on the team. 

We worked in a very different time zone from the project team which at times hindered some communication efforts via slack. However, I am appreciative that Flowout uses slack, since that is a tool that our company leans on heavily.

They were very knowledgeable about Webflow and were able to bridge the knowledge gap that we had.

Turnaround times for getting updated proofs and mock ups were very quick.

Their migration plan was comprehensive and exactly what we needed.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Flowout could have done differently?

Flowout understood our high level vision for the site, but failed to help us bring that down to a granular level and apply it to the details. We had to work extensively with Flowout developers to explain over and over again what graphic assets we wanted to tie our brand together. It caused some friction. They generally just didn't "get us," and further didn't ask clarifying questions on how they could get to that level of understanding. Many graphics and animations went through several iterations of back and forth discussion, which slowed us down on the project. 

I wish that Flowout had taken more ownership in understanding our vision and aligning with that. Instead, they seemed to just follow our instructions exactly. 

Flowout should calculate in more accurate buffer time for brand alignment and understanding goals before charging for lottie and animation work. We didn't get to addressing lottie and animation work until month 2 of our 4 month contract. They should have just billed us for 3 months up front, instead of having us negotiate tacking that first month onto the end (for a total 5 month contract).

We started with a loose requirements doc that outlined some of the content we envisioned being on the site, examples of sites we liked, etc. but I would not call those requirements complete or ready for design/dev.  Flowout worked with us to detail out the requirements and make sure we were clear on what we were looking for, then worked on the design, and finally implementation in Webflow and Go-Live.The website was fairly standard (not overly simple or overly complex) but it did require the use of lotties, custom code, and GSAP animations.

It was critical to us that this project was completed on-time (30 days from kickoff to Go-Live), on budget, and that we were happy with the quality of the site (design, implementation, performance, etc.).

I hired Flowout to do a complete, 1:1 migration of my company website from WordPress to Webflow.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, we established a shared Slack channel for real-time communication and project tracking. We conducted a kickoff meeting to finalize the project scope, confirm stakeholder input, and define priorities. Flowout created an information architecture (IA) framework, consolidating and streamlining the sitemap for a clear structure.

After that, Flowout developed all static pages and CMS templates in Webflow, ensuring full responsiveness across devices. The team implemented interactive elements tailored to our audience, such as lead-generation forms and other custom features. They also integrated external tracking and analytics scripts, including Google Tag Manager, to maintain performance insights.

Moreover, Flowout defined a CMS structure that supported our content needs and allowed for efficient editing by our marketing team. The team connected templates to the CMS to enable streamlined content updates and scalability for future growth.

We worked together from January–March 2025. After completing that project, we have continued to work with Flowout on new page builds and development projects.

The site migration went extremely smoothly. We had a full copy of our previous website on Webflow in a matter of a few weeks. The average performance score across all pages on the site improved from 44.59 (WordPress) to 64.34 (Webflow) within the first week post go-live.
