Flowout has built our entire website. The team has also gradually expanded their scope to help with other website-related tasks, including cookie tracking software, analytics, and marketing and content collateral.

We've been impressed with Flowout's time to website launch and the word-of-mouth feedback we've received about the new website. The feedback has been that the site speaks to our market and opportunity as a company well. It's engaging and clearly defined.

What challenge were you trying to address with Flowout?

I hired Flowout to do a complete, 1:1 migration of my company website from WordPress to Webflow.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, we established a shared Slack channel for real-time communication and project tracking. We conducted a kickoff meeting to finalize the project scope, confirm stakeholder input, and define priorities. Flowout created an information architecture (IA) framework, consolidating and streamlining the sitemap for a clear structure.

After that, Flowout developed all static pages and CMS templates in Webflow, ensuring full responsiveness across devices. The team implemented interactive elements tailored to our audience, such as lead-generation forms and other custom features. They also integrated external tracking and analytics scripts, including Google Tag Manager, to maintain performance insights.

Moreover, Flowout defined a CMS structure that supported our content needs and allowed for efficient editing by our marketing team. The team connected templates to the CMS to enable streamlined content updates and scalability for future growth.

In terms of content and SEO optimization, Flowout migrated existing content into the new system, ensuring consistency and proper formatting. The team used internally developed tools to scrape the current website and gather all URLs, metadata, and Open Graph content for review and updates. Flowout implemented SEO best practices, including metadata optimization, URL redirects, and Open Graph data, to preserve and enhance search performance.

Additionally, Flowout set up integrations with key platforms such as Google Tag Manager, Marketo, and other marketing tools. The team configured forms and tracking scripts to ensure seamless functionality and data flow between systems.

For quality assurance and client review, Flowout conducted thorough internal QA to validate functionality, responsiveness, and alignment with project goals. The team provided a finalized development site for a two-week client review period. Feedback was collected and managed using Markup.io, with necessary adjustments made in the final iteration.

For launch and domain switch support, Flowout provided hands-on support for DNS updates and domain migration to Webflow. The team monitored the live site post-launch to ensure smooth functionality and address any immediate issues or fixes.

Finally, Flowout provided detailed documentation and resources to empower our team to manage the website effectively. The team offered an enablement course via an online conference call to ensure our team was confident working with Webflow.

I found Flowout through the Webflow Certified Partner Showcase. I chose Flowout because they had a strong portfolio of work that they had already done on Webflow that was similar to my project. Beyond that, they were ultra-responsive, and within a day of my initial reach out, I was on a video call with their founders to talk about how they work and to share my project with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from January–March 2025. After completing that project, we have continued to work with Flowout on new page builds and development projects.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The site migration went extremely smoothly. We had a full copy of our previous website on Webflow in a matter of a few weeks. The average performance score across all pages on the site improved from 44.59 (WordPress) to 64.34 (Webflow) within the first week post go-live.

How did Flowout perform from a project management standpoint?

Flowout’s project management matched their development capabilities. The team was ultra-responsive, communicated any and all challenges that were encountered along the way, and made themselves available to address any question we had. It was always clear what was being worked on and what the status of that work was.
