They generated multiple reports covering business viability, market analysis, customer retention strategy, KPI and analytics architecture, partnership opportunities, SWOT analysis, and investor feedback simulations. These reports helped us better understand our market opportunity, customer lifecycle, monetization structure, growth challenges, partnership ecosystem, and long-term scalability potential. The Business Viability and Market Study reports helped validate Trovando’s AI-driven international education marketplace model, market size, competitive positioning, and expansion strategy. The Customer Study and KPI reports provided guidance on retention strategy, analytics infrastructure, user behavior tracking, and data-driven scaling mechanisms. The Partnership Analysis report helped identify strategic alliances with universities, consultants, housing providers, and test-prep partners to accelerate growth and reduce CAC. The SWOT and Investor Feedback reports highlighted both our strengths and execution risks, helping refine our investor narrative and strategic priorities. FasterCapital provided reports covering business viability, market analysis, customer retention strategy, KPI and analytics frameworks, partnership opportunities, SWOT analysis, and investor feedback simulations. These reports helped us better define our target market, customer acquisition strategy, monetization structure, partnership ecosystem, operational priorities, and long-term growth roadmap. The project also helped improve our understanding of investor expectations, scalability risks, retention metrics, and data-driven decision-making processes required for building an AI-powered global student mobility platform. Additionally, the feedback and recommendations provided contributed toward refining our strategic narrative and fundraising preparation. At the same time, FasterCapital was also expected to provide additional deliverables including a refined pitch deck and financial model/financial projections. These deliverables are still pending at the moment, and we are hopeful they will be completed and shared with us as soon as possible.

Most of the reports and feedback documents were delivered in a reasonable timeframe and contributed toward improving our business strategy, investor readiness, and operational planning. They were generally responsive to questions, feedback, and ongoing discussions related to the project. At the same time, some important deliverables — particularly the finalized pitch deck and detailed financial projections/model — are still pending and have not yet been fully delivered. We are hopeful these remaining items will be completed and shared as soon as possible.

What I found most impressive about FasterCapital was their structured and analytical approach toward evaluating startups. Rather than giving only generic feedback, they provided multiple detailed reports covering market analysis, customer retention, scalability, partnerships, KPIs, SWOT analysis, and investor perspectives, which helped us look at Trovando from both an operational and investor lens. I also appreciated their understanding of AI-driven and scalable business models, especially how they analyzed Trovando’s long-term potential as an end-to-end student mobility and decision-intelligence platform rather than just a traditional EdTech company. Their reports highlighted both opportunities and risks in a balanced way, which helped us identify areas that required stronger execution and validation. Another positive aspect was the breadth of strategic insights they provided around customer acquisition, retention frameworks, data infrastructure, partnership ecosystems, and monetization strategy. Some of the recommendations helped us think more deeply about scalability, investor expectations, and how to build stronger operational foundations for future growth. Are there any areas for improvement or something FasterCapital could have done differently?
There are a few areas where I believe FasterCapital could improve their overall client experience and project execution process. First, communication responsiveness could be improved, particularly over email. At times, responses took longer than expected, which created uncertainty around timelines, deliverables, and next steps. For early-stage startups operating under tight timelines, faster and more proactive communication would significantly improve coordination and overall efficiency. Second, there were situations where certain decisions or actions appeared to be taken independently without first discussing them in detail with us. While strategic recommendations and initiative are appreciated, I believe greater alignment and collaborative decision-making with the client would help ensure that expectations, priorities, and execution remain fully synchronized throughout the engagement. Third, although several analytical and strategic reports were delivered, some important deliverables — particularly the finalized pitch deck and detailed financial model/projections — are still pending and have not yet been fully provided. Since these are critical materials for investor outreach and fundraising, receiving them in a more timely manner would have strengthened the overall experience and project completion process. That said, their strategic insights and reports have been valuable and helped us better structure Trovando’s growth, market positioning, and investor readiness.
