I'm the lead iOS developer at a company the provides iCBT solutions. We are based in Stockholm, Sweden.

We were in contact with several companies to help us develop an Android app in Flutter. EWW was by far the best alternative of these. The goal was to make an Android app in Flutter and use the design from our current iOS app.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched for app developers with proven experience working in Flutter. EWW:s portfolio and excellent terms of the contract was the main reasons why we chose them.

We started by going through the design and functionality of existing iOS app thoroughly. We discussed what features could be removed and what deign elements we needed to provide. We then decided on a set of project milestones and which features should go in each milestone.

Since we already have a working iOS app, the scope of the project was limited to create an Android app. We decided, after discussing it with EWW, that Flutter was indeed a good solution to use. We also discussed what kind of frameworks to use etc.

A project manager was assigned to the project. We had contact with him and mostly the lead developer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The app is just recently published but in general we have received very good feedback and only a handful small bugs. In general, the code we received after each milestone had been received was very good and easy to go through and understand.

Most of the communication was done via Slack or video calls via Google Meets. Every week we had a scheduled meeting to discuss the current progress, issues and blockers. They were always quick to reply even though we are not in the same time zone.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

EWW was very easy to work with and we are very impressed with the final delivery of the product. The project management was very good and together we found good ways to work around problems and quickly change the current task if there was a blocker. We also appreciated to be able to talk and work directly with the developers when we were discussing technical details.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

A very successful project and we are super glad we chose EWW to help us finalize it.

once we launched the app we had about 1400 users which is a very good number here in Kuwait. specially we used it initially on 1 school.
