I am the CTO of Gulf Automation Systems. We are one of the leading Kuwaiti companies in the field of automation. We deal with three main sectors: home, residential and industrial. We are a relatively young but fast growing organization. We needed an attractive and modern looking visual identification as well as website to reflect our values and technical capabilities. Something catchy, unique, drawing attention in a positive way. We wanted potential customers to have a clear understanding of what we do and how professional we are just by navigating our website.

For what projects/services did your company hire Exceedo.agency?

They did the whole spectrum of branding/design services for us. First they refined our logo and subsequently they build our brand identification around it (Brand Book, KV, business cards, company profile, company catalog). They also designed and developed our website. Our goal was to have a coherent company communication that would present our services in a simple yet visually distinctive way.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We worked with Exceedo team on our previous projects and could not imagine selecting anyone else for the job.

Their work was preceded by consultations and joint workshops with our team as well as study of our existing marketing materials and defining reference points and benchmarks. At this point it’s worth mentioning that Exceedo founders have a great background in home automation, which made our communication even smoother and their research rapid.

The first thing that Exceedo did, was a slight modification of our logo. The change itself wasn’t huge but it made the logo look much more modern and “lighter”. The following work was devided into three stages:

1. Design: at this stage branding, company profiles, catalogs and all business stationary were created.
2. Website design. Exceedo prepared interactive UX mockups of main page and subpages.
3. Website development. Exceedo implemented all elements created in the previous stage. Exceedo also helped us with some of the copywriting/content for the website.

We directly worked with one of Exceedo founders who also personally managed our project. Other people involved were two graphic designers, one UX designer, one website developer. In total 5 persons.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Certainly. We are very happy with the work that Exceedo did. We printed out our company profile prepared by Exceedo and took it to Saudi Arabia for our meetings. All customers were very impressed. Some of the pictures of the profile are here. Another great example is our website – link herewith.

Seamless communication, workflow and delivery.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I loved everything but in our particular case two things were outstanding. First is their background, experience and knowledge of our sector. Second is their way of work. It is very transparent, compassionate and the guys are super friendly.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I wouldn’t change anything. It was money well spent.

I am an executive of Axon Technology FZCO. We are a fintech company responsible for the development of Axon coin, a cryptocurrency asset linked with cybersecurity services. At Axon we believe that there is a gap in the market when it comes to the safety of transactions between individuals that take place in the cyberspace. Axon was established to fill this gap and provide its users with the most advanced tools enabling counterpart verification, safe interaction online and transaction tracking/recording.

For us Axon represents such concepts as progress, innovation, community and trust. What we needed was a great visual equivalent of those concepts, as well as a modern and impressive brandbook, KV, business stationery, presentations, brochures and finally, a great looking, responsive website.

We knew Exceedo team for many years and were sure that they were the right people for this job.

Exceedo was extremely helpful from the very start of the project. They started with free of charge consulting service to help us determine the utility and philosophy of our coin and the exact scope of services that we required. Then they moved to conceptual work.

They did extensive market research, established benchmarks and reference points, came up with visual concepts representing our vision and assisted us with brand messaging. The next stage was design work. Exceedo meticulously crafted all graphic materials for our company. Starting with the logo and key visual, moving to Brand Book, then business stationery, company presentation and brochures.

Finally Exceedo designed our website and implemented it. The agency was very helpful and open at every stage of the process. They made sure to explain every step to us and engage us throughout. They organized regular online meetings, each element of the design was consulted with us and approved.

There were 8 persons in total involved in the project from Exceedo team: one project manager for branding and design stage, one project manager for web implementation, 2 graphic designers, one UX designer, one motion designer, two web developers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Branding was understood and well accepted by our shareholders and stakeholders which allowed us to move to the next stages of our project: preparing the launch of our coin and IPO. It is yet to be seen how Exeedo’s work will be perceived by customers. But we are quite confident it’s going to be successful too.

It was perfect. I would not change anything.

There is no single most impressive element of this company’s work. They are professional in every aspect. Exceedo.agency is distinguished by utmost adaptability, focus, and compassion. They coined their own methodology to quickly and effectively deliver all the tools their customer needs. Their work is organized and completed in distinctive, well defined stages.

We had a chance to work with their team in the past, before Exceedo.Agency was launched. Our experience was always very positive so when we heard that they started their own company we decided to give it a try. The result was more than satisfying.

The work was devided into and delivered in well organized, distinct stages: moodboard, UX mockups for the website, main page design, subpages design, website impelementation, post-implementation additions, graphics design for our social media. We were engaged at every stage of the work, every aspect was clearly presented and explained to us.

We worked directly with only 2 people: project manager and art director. There were also several persons from the team involved on the back end: designers and web developers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Yes of course. The outcome is our website which looks great, is fully functional and has 2 language versions: Arabic and English. It communicates our company's values and products in a clear and attractive way to our customers.

Every stage of work was consulted with us and approved before the team moved to another stage. Yet, at the same time, the team showed great creativity and understanding of our values and business perspective in KSA and provided us with mock-ups and design that perfectly fitted our needs. All stages were delivered on time. We used Zoom, Whatsapp and E-mails for our communication.

Their empathy and ability to put themselves in our shoes and instantly understand what our needs were impressive.Their professionalism, high personal culture and experience in working on international/multicultural projects. Finally the ideas and creativity of their graphic team.
