Droxic collaborated with us during the concept and discovery phase of a global digital platform for surgeons, designed to connect professionals through education, training, and shared clinical cases. Their team helped us shape the product vision, define the user journeys, and translate our educational goals into a clear digital roadmap. They contributed detailed UX concepts, wireframes, and technical recommendations that guided our strategic decision-making for the platform’s next development phase. Their structured approach, creativity, and deep understanding of complex digital ecosystems added real value to the early stages of the project.

Droxic was involved primarily in the concept stage, their work had measurable impact on our internal progress. Their UX research and prototype testing helped us validate key assumptions with our target audience of surgeons and educators. Based on their input, we refined the platform’s core feature set and user flow, which later reduced development complexity and improved clarity for our internal stakeholders. The deliverables from their discovery phase became the foundation for our final product specifications and were instrumental in accelerating alignment between our clinical experts, product team, and technical partners.

Droxic demonstrated a very structured and transparent approach to project management. We were impressed by Droxic’s ability to bridge creativity with a deep technical understanding. Their team quickly grasped the complexities of surgical education and managed to turn abstract learning objectives into tangible product concepts. Their workshops were dynamic and engaging, and their designers consistently delivered thoughtful, high-quality work. We particularly valued how they balanced strategic thinking with practical recommendations. Something that’s rare and extremely useful in early-stage product definition.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Droxic could have done differently?

Honestly, very little. Overall, the collaboration exceeded our expectations for this project phase. Our overall experience with Droxic was excellent. They approached the project as true partners. Curious, professional, and genuinely invested in our success. Even though the collaboration ended after the discovery phase, their input had a lasting impact on how we structured and prioritized our platform development. We would gladly consider working with them again on future digital initiatives.

Droxic provided consultancy and software development service to create a bespoke solution which can generate and maintain energy usage statements for a section of the customer base. This was a microservirces based solution. This was a solution to a complex problem and was a regulatory requirement. As part of the deliverables there was proper documentation and maintenance as well.

The solution provided was to generate usage statements for energy customers when they close their account. One of the measurable outcomes was to be able to generate statements and send to the customers within an agreed SLA. This was achieved.

For what projects/services did your company hire Droxic, and what were your goals?

We hired Droxic do develop an activitylog for our system. We supplied them with a product manager and a function sheet, the goal was to have a working code in 3 months.

How did you select Droxic and what were the deciding factors?

We knew one of their sales representive in person and therefor wanted to outsource it to them.

We supplied them with a technical specification and gave them a direct line to our lead developer and product manager. They were to follow to specifications, code was to be written in PHP.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Major failure, code never worked and was full of bugs. Decided to pull the project from them.

We communicated through Slack. They have no management style, they have no idea what they are doing.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I have no idea where to start, in my opinion hire a better HR person and more qualified Managers.

The vendor responded on February 8, 2021.

We do not agree with the views/opinions given. 

Due to the complexity, we proposed to work 6 weeks on the project based on the list of items provided by the client (with a goal of full completion in 3 months). Never did we agree on delivering all the items from the list within the original contract of 6 weeks. 

Our goals were:

1. To understand the app and the items required.
2. Start to develop the new items.
3. Set up a structure for the best collaboration possible.
4. Once we have done our first 6 weeks, to come up with a plan/schedule for all items

Our communication was via Slack, email, phone, and a shared project showing all items and the status per item.

We faced several issues with missing user documentation, testing and review availability on the client’s side, and delay in getting replies feedback.

The complexity of the project lies in that we could have developed 1 set of items, but that would mean that it did not match another set of items, making it look like “bugs” although the functionality was working as agreed upon.

We spent a lot of goodwill, good intentions, several developers and time (over 20 weeks) based on the original contract of 6 weeks. And even after our new action plan and additional agreement, the client refused to respect the contract and the annex.

We wish the client a lot of success in completing the project with a different partner.
