I am the owner of an E-Commerce company. We own multiple Private Label E-Commerce brands in different industries such as Health, Beauty, FMCG, Cosmetics and Personal Care.

For what projects/services did your company hire Digitaez, and what were your goals?

We want to launch a new Private Label brand under our company's umbrella. So, had to make a new E-Commerce website which is not only technically strong to manage the huge traffic load, but also a website which is aesthetically pleasant while meeting all global practices of UI and UX. We also needed payment gateways, product customization, media support, Order processing slips and other E-Commerce oriented support functions.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

One of my very closed friend recommend me this company. Initially I was hesitant in giving such crucial project of E-Commerce website development to them. But surprisingly, they proved me wrong and deliver such a project which meet all my requirements. I am so happy and satisfied that now i can have my such website related projects done from such a professional and supported team.

We had our first meeting, in which they asked all our requirements, then they asked for few days so they could work upon them. In second meeting, they shared their point of view on few of our requirements and suggested us improved requirements. Then they aligned their design and development team with us who briefed us about technical side. In few meetings, we were clear what we will get and when. And gladly we received what was promised to us.

There were 3 people in total. One was project manager, one was Designer and one was Developer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launching our brand, we ran it for few weeks and did not faced any troubleshoot issue, web maintenance issue or technical glithces.

Project manager used to update us about our project every other alternate day. We made few changes in deliverables even after the project has started, they were kind enough in communication that they accepted our changes requests.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The thing I like most about this company is their communication, the way they communicated with much transparency, openness, acceptance, and calmness which made us happy and satisfied.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They could add more services to their offering so that brands like us can have one window solution from them. A

I’m a co-founder at Out Gamers, a gaming company located in Pakistan.

What challenge were you trying to address with Digitaez?

We wanted to push for esports in Pakistan, and we hired Digitaez to develop an app that was focused on the gaming community.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

In the beginning, we gave Digitaez the scope of the project, starting with the UI/UX design. After that, we moved on to developing the app. They submitted work for our approval at every stage to ensure that we were in the right direction. Overall, the app had features for both e-commerce and gaming. 

Moreover, the team used Flutter to develop the app, which ran on both iOS and Android devices. Meanwhile, they also developed a web panel. They used React on its frontend and Firebase and Node.js on the backend. They had to make sure that it was connected to the app’s backend. 

Digitaez approached me and offered marketing services after development. I tried their marketing offer for one month, but I decided to take it in-house. Apart from that, we worked on the app’s content as a team; we provided content, and they made some items on their own. 

At present, everything has been delivered, but we’re still using them for app maintenance. If something big comes up, we call them to come around and fix things. 

What is the team composition?

We work with their two owners, along with two other people from the development team.

How did you come to work with Digitaez?

We scoped the project and approached multiple companies. We found Digitaez via a Facebook ad while looking for outsourcing companies. At that time, a digital marketer from their team was promoting their web development services. I reached out to them to have discussions. After multiple rounds of negotiations and meetings with various agencies, we settled for Digitaez. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested a total of $13,000; the development cost is $10,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Digitaez in July 2020, and the engagement is ongoing. While they delivered everything in July 2021 and we’re not doing anything at the moment apart from maintenance, we plan to use them in the future. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our platform has launched and generated around $10,000 in its first month. That’s a great number for us; we haven’t been expecting it. So far, we also have around 25,000 monthly downloads with 1,000–2,000 daily users. We’re also receiving positive feedback for the game. 

How did Digitaez perform from a project management standpoint?

Overall, their project management is great. Everything has been top-notch, though there have been some issues with time since our app is complex. We’ve had to stretch the timeline by one week, but it isn’t much of an issue. Meanwhile, Digitaez has given us a good price, and they’ve worked within our budget. 

In terms of communication, they’re also great; they keep me in the loop during development. I’ve never had to ask them for an update, and they’re always ready to answer any questions I have. On top of that, they’re from our city, so we can have face-to-face meetings. We also have good communication on WhatsApp. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’ve only ever worked with two providers, namely Digitaez and a local company — Digitaez is much better than the other team. Beyond that, the team has impressive communication skills. They aren’t hesitant to negotiate; the team is truly open with us while highlighting every challenge we experience. 

Overall, the Digitaez team has given us one of the best UI/UX designs we’ve seen. They’ve implemented everything well without compromising anything. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

They can still improve their web development skills. Their work is great, but they’ve had to add a couple of things afterward. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Document everything and share it with Digitaez before proceeding with the engagement. Once everything is decided, no one can go back.

We had a phone interview with them and they understood our requirements and gave enough time in discovery stages to make us feel that we can trust them.

They came up with designs and kept making changes until our landing pages were at a satisfactory level. Changes were quick and we are happy with the work

our website changes and redesign will lead to decrease cost of ppc campaigns and feedback we received from others was positive about site design.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Project manager was very easy to communicate with and daily we were in touch with them over whatsapp messaging each other back and forth and having daily meetings.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I have worked with agencies in the past but their commitment to the project was impressive.

Things could be done faster however design would be compromised. Therefore i dont think i cant suggest much

As stated it was a design and issue fixing project. at the start, I have described the project scope along with the requirement document. Ali took and lead and complete it within given timelines

In Total, there were two people working with me. Mr. Ali & Mr. Saram. Ali was the first person and saram was the second person to help things out.
