We came to DevTeamSpace with a visual design concept of our Gateway Legacy Library, and asked them to build a mobile application. DevTeamSpace reshaped our current design by creating a slightly newer look and added several new features. They built the app, QA tested it to make sure it was running perfectly, and then deployed it to the App store.

I searched on the Internet and found their site. I emailed them and got a call back within a very short space of time. I then shared the scope of our project and their manager explained to me how it could be implemented. I liked how they handled it and decided to work with them.

I worked with a total of two dev teams, managed by different project managers. We had weekly sessions where they demonstrated the new features that they had implemented via new versions of the app. When the app was built, they tested it thoroughly to make sure that everything was running smoothly before publishing it in Google Play and AppStore.

Definitely professional! Whenever I had a question they always had an answer. Both of them were constantly reachable in Slack and very helpful at all times. They always provided a roadmap in Notion and addressed my comments in Figma.

I liked how great they were at keeping deadlines and addressing all issues.  Excellent team to work with!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

In the future, we will probably need to build another app for the church, and they will definitely be my one and only choice.

It was an ongoing procedure of going through weekly sprints, and after each sprint, they would push code to my GitHub.

Their account manager was supportive and was always able to find time for meetings when it was convenient for me. Their designer has picked just the perfect mood for the visuals of my app. The project manager regularly updated me on all new implementations and had developers attend the meetings when needed.

Their process and quality are impressive. How they all function together, synchronized as a team.

As for me, it’s a very well organized work structure.

We are trying to build a dating app with a specific set of filters and matching algorithms as the major players are not addressing the needs of a child-free community.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I initially had some documentation already prepared. I shared the specs with the project manager and the designer and we had a couple of meetings to discuss the user experience and target audience.

The app will allow users to onboard the platform and find matches based on specific filters related to children and family relationships. The app will be available for iOS and Android and include in-app purchases.

We work with the account manager and the designer. The team used Figma for design and gathering my feedback.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

DevTeamSpace designed the application through wireframes and converted them to the UI/UX clickable prototype demonstrating the user flow. They also designed the app logo, user interface style, and admin panel. The design phase ended with a detailed estimate and the roadmap for the development. Right now I use both of provided documents to fundraise among the community.

During the design phase, we had two Zoom calls per week where they pitched their ideas and reported the progress. The team listens to my feedback, and we always look to our sessions to review what they design. In between the meetings I’ve left comments in Figma on specific visual and user experience aspects.

They’re experts in what they do and have good communication skills. Their design team is proactive and suggests new features and user flows in the process.

No, I’m happy with their work.

Measurable - Application must allow users to logon via AD credentials and the application is to perform as the current version does. Both of these were met and with plenty of communication back and forth to confirm both sides agreed on the work and the results.

Structured yet open for communication and discussion about any issues that might arise. Slack channel for my projects specifically - email as needed - really liked having both available.

We had our current app already released for iOS and Android and needed to make some major interface updates and add some new features based on new user stories. We wanted the new team to work with our backend developer, who is still involved in the project on a part-time basis.

We researched development firms online that had great reviews by former clients. Since our app was already released and we weren't looking to redesign it completely, we also were looking for a team that could take direction and execute quickly rather than suggesting starting the entire process from scratch like some other firms did (which would have made the process exceed our budget). I found an article about mobile development on DevTeam.Space's website, scheduled a session, and spoke to the developers. I read references from their previous clients and decided to kick off the project.

It was swift, I wasn't used to such a fast development speed, so things got delayed a bit on our end. All in all, the project was finished much faster than I expected.

Not really, I'm impressed with how the project went.

I’ve found articles about Python development and Facebook automation on their website, scheduled a call, and spoke to the developers. I’ve got references from their previous clients and decided to kick-off the project.

DevTeamSpace worked with Outloud Media for about six months, incrementally improving our software. They added validation, error handling, refactored our API, queuing posts, reworked our UI, and a dozen other improvements.

They fixed all our bugs and made the other improvements on time; the code was added to our GitHub repository before being tested by our in-house developers.

We had calls twice a week explaining our needs and discussing the ongoing tasks. In addition, they regularly reported the project progress and discussed feedback after the weekly sprint was complete. The process was quite straightforward, so I confess to having no issues whatsoever with their project management.

They were always in touch and estimated everything before working, so we always knew what to expect.

No, I don’t think so. I’m fully satisfied with the result.

I was looking for a full stack developer familiar with NodeJs, Mongodb and Express. I needed help with the backend functionality and tying it in with the frontend.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Their Blog was fantastic, explaining the industry clearly! After filling out a contact form on the website I went through a discovery call with business analysts. I liked their approach towards the development process and their previous experience working on similar project. So I decided to kick off the project with them.

The team did the refactoring of database-related code, created a Fortnite bot, tested its functionality, and launched the project on the Heroku platform. The team worked on the game statistics, starting tournaments and handling friends/friend requests. Some frontend tasks like photo uploading and data validation also were done by them.

I had a project manager and one developer / technical writer assigned to my project. I also had a dedicated technical account manager who was helping me to go through the development process.

The beta is now finished and is available at https://www.glitchglobal.gg/. We are now preparing for the public release.

I liked their clear and sound project management approach, great developer understanding, but most of all, the idea of having a project manager like Rauya communicate back and forth made the process of working with DevTeam.Space super clear and efficient.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I have worked with multiple dev teams before, and honestly the DevTeam.Space guys are the best! It was extremely easy to communicate with them and they were flexible with any changes that I wanted to make. The team was open to suggestions and provided the best quality of work.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

My only suggestion for the future is for them to provide a guide for the frontend developer to avoid unnecessary questions. There was some back and forth at some point when we were working together to integrate the code, a guide could have helped answer some of these questions.

Our app has been a great success. Our users are happy and we have consistently grown a large user base.

The communication has been outstanding. I'm in constant contact with the team whenever needed, including Slack messages and twice-weekly update and planning meetings. They were able to pivot when needed and implement changes and design updates without any problem.

To build best in class user friendly UI/UX system

SOLUTION

How did you select DevTeamSpace?

The scope was to design and create a visual frontend prototype for our oil rigs and facilities management portal. They studied the documentation and did a good job of forming and visualizing a user flow outline and then coding it into a website.

Myself and my team had a vision of how we wanted the web app to look like. DevTeamSpace helped us to achieve our goals of the remote monitoring production system and make it very user friendly where all the needed information is in one screen to help the well analyst to execute the job in efficient way.

Both project manager Alex and a lead developer Anton were the focal point for this project. Alex managed the project and Anton is the lead developer. Both showed impressive capabilities to understand the objective of the project and flawlessly execute the tasks.

They created a modern design and even updated my brand identity a bit to fit. We had about 6 or 8 design sessions to go over the new and developing pages and figure out how the users should interact with the website and what should be the results.

After the design phase was done, DevTeam.Space created a demonstration website with user scenarios that I’m now showing my investors and oil market professionals via both online and offline demos.

They were outstanding, open to my input and fixes, did everything on time, and never failed to deliver on their promises. My project is somewhat specific in terminology and subject, so I was impressed how quickly all DevTeam.Space’s staff were able to get up to speed.

Our software consists of two parts: Internal administration and Agent SaaS. The primary languages that were used to build our software were PHP, SQL, Js, and Java. Our software had time lag issues and an outdated codebase. We needed a new long-term product development partner to step in, identify the issues and fix them, and also to take over the management of the entire project on a long-term basis. After carefully reviewing many options, we decided that DevTeam.Space was the best fit for us.

We found DevTeamSpace via web search and decided to contact them after reading their reviews. Once we had a few conversations with them, it was clear we had made the right decision.

By the end of the first week working with us, DevTeam.Space miraculously produced an extensive report with a list of problems that they had identified with our software. There were code structure, security, and performance issues, all outlined according to priority. They performed load and performance testing, identified the code bottlenecks, and outlined a shortlist of critical issues together with a long-term plan for code improvement. Originally we used no framework at all, so they introduced PHP and JS frameworks together with support work and code improvements.

We have worked with 4 team members on our project, starting with the man at the top, whom was very patient and informative with our needs. The performance of our software increased massively after they stepped in. Some SQL queries now take less than 5 seconds vs. up to 360 seconds before. Our software is now in much better shape. In the end, their developers removed over 800 unused and poorly organized files from the project while vastly improving the codebase. We definitely plan to continue working with DevTeam.Space in the long run.

Extremely well to be totally honest. We never had a proper project management structure before starting to work with DevTeam.Space. They introduced phased planning, weekly sprints, and daily communication practices via daily Slack communication and email updates.

We are very pleased with the DevTeam.Space developers that we hired, particularly with our new lead developer on the project. What a talented and knowledgeable developer he really is. He has works alongside our CTO Benson and myself effortlessly, and has a firm handle on both our software and our business requirements.
