To create a special design for a mobile app that was to be easy to understand and use, appealing and appropriate to an iPad.

We had booked Capital Numbers before on a different project.

We sent Capital Numbers some screenshots of designs showing screens we were not happy with and that we knew could be improved. Capital Numbers prepared some designs, to cover themes, colours, fonts, buttons and labels.

There were two resources, one senior designer and one head of design.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We were very pleased with the results. The team provided three different themes, including colours, gradients and object sizes for us to choose from. We made a choice and then refined it a little thereafter. There is no question that the new design is superior to the old by some margin.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was very effective. We got responses at a suitable pace and I felt the team listened well to any concerns and quickly addressed them.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were most impressed with their willingness to listen and adjust their designs where necessary.

None I can think of.

A bit slow in the beginning but as we all got to understand each other's communication style including better understanding the platform and our needs things are going smoothly now after nearly 12 months.

Just resolve issues in a timely matter this way we didn't have to continue to reach out to Capital Numbers to get their attention. Things have been going smoothly.

Flexibility and work hours.

We were a little disappointed by the attention to detail, as we received "completed" phases of the project that had bugs or did not operate properly, however, this is to be expected. The bigger area for improvement is the timeline: our project took more than twice as many months as quoted to complete. However, we are very satisfied with the end product...We were just disappointed by the speed.

Capital Numbers delivered the job perfectly on time and 100% according to the brief. It was not necessary to have many meetings to make them understand what we needed. They grasped from the very beginning. The previous development company we had hired was not able to do the job as required... The map is now working smoothly and it's very easy to navigate.
