Although they all speak English, sometimes their accents are a little thick, which makes it hard for us to communicate.

We don't have any specific measurables but we have around 20 000 visitors monthly and receive great feedback. The team is very driven and come up with great ideas for solutions and potential improvements. They also seem to work great together and collaborate well!

we have had a great team leader who is leading the project, but we have great communication with everyone within the team and can easily just ask for a meeting with anyone when needed. They communicate clearly in terms of expected time to deliver specific tasks, let us know if things are taking extra time and why, and are good at updating us with progress and/or concern during our stand-ups

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Don't have much to compare with but all in all they can be trusted, are very honest and take feedback very well. They are very easy to work with, and I feel like they are a part of our team.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Only small things every now and then that comes with any project and has to do with communicating remotely and with different cultures and expecations. It's never business critical things but any project has room for improvement and that goes for our part as well.

We wanted to start selling our products online, and the board gave us the directive to go online within three months. We needed to find a partner that could develop an e-commerce platform for us quickly without sacrificing its quality and speed.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Brainvire Infotech Inc developed a B2C e-commerce site for us.

We split the project into three phases. The first phase involved the development of the MVP, which we launched one month ago. The second phase involved implementing new features as well as extra pages into the website. The third and final phase involved integrating the whole e-commerce business into our ERP system, SAP.

We started the project by gathering our requirements, explaining what we wanted to achieve to Brainvire Infotech Inc, and documenting everything we discussed.

After that initial phase, they set off into Agile development. After developing something, they would test it and hand it over to me for further testing. I would then provide feedback, after which we would move on to the next component.

Tiles are one of the biggest divisions that we have, so we had to implement some custom features to the site for the tile industry. In tile manufacturing, we have the concept of tile batches and Brainvire Infotech Inc implemented batch customization into the site to help us easily manage these tile batches.

Aside from that, we requested a feature that we call a “tile finder”, which allows customers to browse different kinds, colors, and sizes of tiles more easily and in a user friendly manner.

I primarily worked with a project manager, but I also worked with four people on the development side and two people on implementing Google Analytics.

When we were looking for a development partner, we sent out an RFP to a number of different companies. We also conducted some reference calls, and we were referred to Brainvire Infotech. After checking out their previous work and confirming the project’s timeline, we decided to go with them for this project.

We worked on this project from October 2021-January 2022. We have completed the first phase and are well off into the second phase.

I’ve received really good feedback from everyone I’ve shown it to in terms of its look and feel.

We were also able to accomplish the project within three months, which was our original goal for this project.

How did Brainvire Infotech Inc perform from a project management standpoint?

Brainvire Infotech Inc did an excellent job in terms of project management. They were always available and quick to address any issues that I encountered.

The project was very well defined from the beginning and everything was communicated well. I always knew what they were working on and when I can expect them to be delivered. We kept track of all their tasks using Azure DevOps, which ensured the transparency of the project’s progress. 

We primarily communicated through Slack and Google Meet.

Brainvire Infotech Inc has a lot of highly skilled developers, which was one of the reasons why we chose them for this project.

Brainvire Infotech Inc could have done better in quality testing before they delivered the product to us. Other than that, it was great working with them and we had a successful launch.

Make sure to define what you want with as much detail as you can at the very beginning of the project. The better you define and plan everything in the beginning, the easier the project will be for everyone later on.

We wanted to change a traditional value-added distribution model where we used traditional methodologies to transact and process business orders. We wanted to change that experience of our channel partners to something that a consumer would typically have in a B2C marketplace or shopping experience. We were looking for a partner to help us deliver the solution by finding the right platform and customizing it to our needs.

Brainvire Infotech Inc created a platform where our sales team could create quotations, send them to partners, and do other processing. Our platform also has instant messaging to allow channel partners to chat with our staff.

Overall, there are seven deliverables, including a website they created from scratch and a backend module with a mobile app for our in-house users. They also developed two other applications from scratch for Android and iOS for our partners and vendors — all seven systems are connected through a collaboration platform with API integrations.

We have an extensive network of partners that we work with, and more than 70% of them are already using the platform — we’re onboarding them one by one, and we're going to bring it to 100% very soon. Thanks to the new platform, people chat with the partners, make quotations, and give feedback — it has streamlined our processes massively. Everything goes automatically through our order processing and procurement, and all documents are easy to find in one place.

They could put in people who are more available with language — communication can be a problem if we have somebody from outside the region because it’s hard for them to comprehend. Since we have Arabic speakers and if they have multi-lingual people it would be cherry on the top

What was the scope of their involvement?

Brainvire has built an application for frontline marketing staff. They’ve helped us on the mobility front and used React.JS to build it. They’ve also worked with us to develop the entire user application.

End users are contractors who are using adhesives to create furniture or plumbers who are using our products to fill pipes. Brainvire has helped us hugely on mobility and Azure Cloud to set up some new-age containerization on Azure.

Our marketing department is heading this project, and they’ve been in close contact with the team. They’ve been looking at it step-by-step, and they all like it.

In terms of tools, we use Jira and Kanban. Everything’s detailed as to what they’re working on, what was being tested, etc. Also, whenever we had any issues or questions, they’re available even after hours and always deliver on the established deadlines.

They’re great at their work; we haven’t had an issue with what they show us — everything is squeaky clean. They also do their QA and testing really well.

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on. The only thing could be for them to have people who deal with our Arabic language, but that’s not their fault.

Have good communication with them. Also, get them what they need on time — they’ll ask you for input on many things.

I’m the CIO and head project manager for ABC Hardware Inc. and Special Events. We have a series of brick-and-mortar hardware stores in the Western New York region as well as three special event stores where we rent party-based equipment to customers. 

On top of that, we’re a True Value Hardware affiliate, which means we take orders from customers using the True Value network and have items shipped directly from True Value warehouses to their homes.

What challenge were you trying to address with Brainvire Infotech Inc?

We were trying to come up with a system that allowed us to control our inventory, manage our warehouse, and combine our sales into an omnichannel environment. The solution also needed to have a rental component and shipping system where we could fulfill orders from our warehouse for customer pickup. Finally, we wanted to utilize the True Value API to handle orders shipped from True Value warehouses directly to our customers’ houses.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement? 

Brainvire Infotech Inc has built out our omnichannel platform. The first phase involved investigating the True Value API to determine the best e-commerce ecosystem. Once we settled on Magento, we moved to the second phase where we did our due diligence to determine if we needed Magento Community or Magento Enterprise (Adobe Commerce). 

In Phase 3, we identified Odoo as a suitable ERP system. We’re currently still working on the rental side as well as the B2B portals for Adobe Commerce. 

What is the team composition? 

I work with about eight people, including a head Magento engineer, two junior Magento engineers, and two Odoo engineers. On the server-side, they’ve assigned someone to help us choose the best server, hosting location, and maintenance package. There’s also an overall project manager.

I had an existing relationship with Brainvire Infotech Inc from working with them on an integration while at my previous company. The project was pretty similar but less complex. I did some additional research just to make sure that other people out there were having similar experiences with them.

The project started in June 2020, and it’s still ongoing. The pandemic has slowed things down a bit from our end.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

By tapping into the True Value API and bringing it into our Magento e-commerce system, we’ve been able to distribute True Value products across the world and make income off of it. We’ve seen quite a good increase in sales as a result.

Additionally, we’ve centralized our warehouse and special events inventory, which was led to an increase in sales now that we have much better visibility on our products. We know when an item is booked and when it’s blocked out, so we’re not over-promising and underdelivering as much anymore.

Finally, we have a better understanding of what our margins are. We now know which products to push and pull back based on profitability.

Brainvire Infotech Inc really excels in project management using Jira, Odoo ticketing, Skype, email, and Google Meet. That helps in terms of team coordination and communication. Also, they always have people available during my critical work hours, even though I’m in New York while they’re in India. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I like how they feel more like a partner than a contractor. The team does a great job of understanding what your needs and wants are from the project’s perspective and then fulfilling that. They don’t just do what you ask them to do — rather, they make suggestions and talk through growth opportunities within the integration based on their experience with other customers.

The other aspect that I like about them is their accessibility. From the underlying workers to the CEO himself, I can access really high-level personnel if there are ever any issues or if I want to check in on how the project is going.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They have a lot of people working within departments, so you sometimes have to work with different people from one project to the next. That means taking the time to get to know their style while they learn yours. I’d like to see a more consistent, dedicated team that we could carry through everything. 

Other than that, I don’t have any criticisms about the quality of their work, communication, nor price. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be comfortable communicating through Skype and Jira and understand those platforms. Also, for any project that Brainvire Infotech Inc is working on, it’s best to have a dedicated project manager. Don’t assign someone who has a lot of other existing duties and have them fit these integrations in because there’s so much detail involved. You need someone who can give these projects their full attention and manage that bidirectional communication.

We wanted an online platform to keep track of inventory, product information, and take care of order fulfillment.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, they developed an e-commerce platform through Magento 2 and incorporated our API system into it. They designed the Magento 2 platform to have a dynamic and responsive theme, integrating Braintree for payments. They then developed the system to update according to True Values Hardware’s catalog automatically and added the Linux tool cron to refresh all product information. Additionally, they produced high-definition flyers for our services and posted them on our site.

We are now able to offer True Value Hardware’s entire catalog in one location. Our company can also expedite shipping because the platform allows us to pick the closest distribution center. The system accepts PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, making digital transactions easier. Because of their work, we can access our product information more dynamically.

I communicated with the project manager on a daily basis. We primarily used Skype to interface and Jira to schedule tasks and organize project information. They were excellent when it came to managing their time and responsibilities. Though there were various elements of the project to deal with simultaneously, they remained responsive and were able to prioritize tasks.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were always willing to apply their expertise to solve any issues and fully understand the vision for the project. Their ability to make quality suggestions and implement them stood out. All of their solutions were easy to use and conflict-free. There were never any surprises from them; they spelled everything out from the beginning.

We started with a simple system with Brainvire, and now we have components tailored for all the different industry stakeholders in the industry: teachers, students, and parents. We’ve gotten a lot of positive feedback from clients on the new interface. The system is better and more comprehensive than it was, and we haven’t found any bugs.

They presented a comprehensive SOW, taking out a lot of time to understand the project before actually starting. Thanks to this crystal-clear picture, we knew what we were building out and what the timelines and structure were. Brainvire has met deadlines 9 out of 10 times.

There’ve been a lot of people involved in developing the app, and Brainvire coordinates very well amongst themselves and with us. We use Jira to track the work on a daily basis, and we communicate through email and Skype. My technical team is always on Skype.

Beyond implementation, Brainvire has come up with good ideas about what we should build into the system. 

Additionally, I appreciate their systematic approach and understanding of what we want. They study what our competitors are delivering and use their expertise to make user-friendly systems. They come up with out-of-the-box ideas to make products with good positioning in the public domain.

They could work on timelines, whether it’s the overall achievement of the project or the time taken to build a particular feature. Brainvire’s team does quality work, but they take more time to give things an extra edge.

Go ahead. Brainvire is a one-stop solution. They’ll take care of your IT needs in the most appropriate manner.

They offered reasonable pricing and were very patient and polite with us. The apps they have made before were also a deciding factor because of their recognition.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We had calls prior to us actually starting to make sure we had this idea down. They drew up UI designs and would change it as we saw fit. Once development started they were never late and always delivered on time, even with development they would change things as we needed them to be changed and were very patient in doing so.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked with two from BrainVire’s business team to hash out pricing when we needed to add something and a project manager. Each of them we spoke to were incredibly polite and were always ready to be on call.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We are nearing the impending release of our app and are so happy with the work BrainVire produced, they brought our vision to life and really made it an app to be proud of.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Communication at times could be difficult because of language barriers, however, it would always work out in the end and we’d reach that common understanding. They were very patient when it came to this and would move on until they fully understood what needed to be done. The timeliness we experienced was perfect, there was never a moment when their delivery on anything (UI/UX, development releases, etc) was late.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Everything we said we wanted to add, they can always do. I thought some things we wanted would be impossible or would be way out of our price range. Also I thought how fast BrainVire worked to produce results was impressive as well, we’d put in a request for additional features or tweaks to little things within the app and they’d have it done and presentable by the next day.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There could be improvements on contract negotiations, we went into it thinking there’d be some features that turned out wouldn’t. There was some miscommunication on that end.
