Blurify led the entire development from A to Z - from idea proposition and UX/UI design to mobile development and release. They ensured the app reflected our brand identity and addressed our key expectations. Their team also helped us refine the scope and structure of the app to maximize usability.

The Basketball Dream app turned out to be a great success. It’s intuitive, visually engaging, and aligned with basketball fan expectations. Most importantly, it has performed perfectly even under heavy traffic. Fans could easily make predictions, track results in real time, and earn points. The feedback we received from our fans was very positive.

The Basketball Dream app delivered measurable success across several key areas. It was a pleasure to work with them and be part of this process, as the workflow was very effective.

The app works for iOS and Android, but there is a web-based component of it as well. There is the consumer-facing app, and then the commercial side where buyers can log in and see users who are willing to sell.

We went from the design stages where we just had ideas, to a complete app 6–7 months later.

We use Jira to track progress, and we have daily calls. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’ve been able to do everything for us. They have front- and backend developers, project managers, design teams, and DevOps all in-house. 

Studio Software communicates well with us, and they’ve been there every step of the way. Any time we bring something up, they fix it immediately. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s been a few times during the middle of the process when we feel like they’ve lost a little bit of momentum on the project, but that is somewhat expected. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Communicate and make sure that you’re following up with them. Make sure that if there is a problem, they’re fixing it. You need to stay focused on your end of things and realize that there will be pros and cons to every decision you make.

We needed to add new modules to our product (device-management software), for example, a calendar module that helps our administrator define events for different devices and locations.

Our goal was to meet our clients’ expectations and provide high-quality modules, as they have been waiting for these solutions for a long time. As a result, we hired Studio Software to help us achieve our business goals.

They are mainly involved in developing the modules for our product. One of the most important was a calendar that manages different events for specific dates. All of the events are connected to our devices, located all over the country.

On one hand, they present a high commitment to the project and can develop diverse IT solutions; on the other, they follow a smooth management process and present efficient communication methods, which is an excellent skill set.

The project was built with PHP and React.js. We started cooperation in the middle of the year, and the first module was delivered on time, after three months.

We work with two backend and two frontend developers, two testers, and a project manager.

They delivered the expected modules, bringing many significant benefits to our business. Their input had a positive impact on our growth, and we were able to meet our clients’ expectations. What is more, it is great to cooperate with a partner who really understands your needs and presents many innovative ideas. The team also shared valuable insights about our system and produced some improvements to make it more stable and efficient.

They present a very efficient workflow. We’re running the project in Jira, and the documentation is based on Notion. We also use other tools for clear communication and meet every week using Google Meets. They really care about transparent communication and are highly responsive during the project. We are impressed with the way they organize their work - they were able to kick off the project quickly and helped us achieve our goals. However, what stands out the most about them is their proactive attitude and ability to bring helpful ideas to the table, and the way they build relationships with their clients.

At the very beginning, we faced a challenge regarding team rotations, which was difficult at the early stage of the cooperation. Fortunately, Studio Software has met the challenge with a proven process to organise their work.

The app consists of tests and a great knowledge base that makes learning easier and pleasant. We also cooperate with several Polish Universities.

They were very transparent from day one. What I appreciate the most, is that they inform you not only about the successes, but also provide detailed information about problematic issues, and present ideas for the best possible outcomes. Studio Software is constantly trying to improve the way we work together, despite the fact, that in my opinion, it’s already great. The whole cooperation is well organized, process-driven, and at the same time, I know what to expect at every step of the project.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’re going to launch and release the beta soon. We have a couple beta clients and we’ve started to design around the platform. We did a lot of user testing and the functionality has performed well. They’ve been able to deliver what I imagined.

Project management has been good. Obviously, we always want it faster and cheaper, but the quality is really good. We used Slack and Jira to communicate back and forth.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They really desire to get it done the way we want it. That’s the best thing about working with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There always room for improvement. The project has taken longer than we originally planned but that may be partially my team’s responsibility. I’ve also urged them to speak up when they don’t understand something. At first, they would just go with what they thought it was. So, it took a while to get the communication going.

Create a super clear project proposal and hold daily stand-up meetings. We also took our sprints from two weeks to one week. We found that two weeks was a little long to stay disconnected. So, compressed timelines have helped us drop more features.

We have created the first open service in Poland to estimate creditworthiness, compare many loans, generate and automatically fill in applications simultaneously to several banks. I am the Product Owner and I am responsible for marketing.

The original version of the website required improvement in terms of the user interface, which was unintuitive and had an outdated design. In addition, the mechanisms used to administrate the process of generating documents for the website user required optimization.

What were your goals for this project?

The purpose of cooperation with Studio Software was to design and implement a new website interface that allows the user to use its functions in the easiest way possible - i.e., in particular, to be able to easily compare mortgage loan offers and generate a set of documents needed to send loan applications. In addition, we needed to thoroughly rebuild the mechanisms for handling customer requests.

Thanks to the designed new version of the interface, we have noted a big increase in involvement in the functions offered by jakikredyt. Panel management from the administrator's side has become less time-consuming. We have also been noticed by the media, which assess us as a modern and innovative tool that helps clients get credit. The change also positively affected the possibility of attracting more investors to the project.

The project manager responsible for running the project was great. We value cooperation with her not only for amazing communication, care for the progress of the project in Jira, but above all for creativity and the ability to suggest relevant solutions.

We’re really pleased with the results. Everything has gone smoothly. People have been waiting for this new version of the website, and it seems like they’re happy with the way it looks and works.

How did Studio Software perform from a project management standpoint?

Studio Software is very professional and flexible. Whenever they’re working on our project, I have daily contact with the frontend developer, who delivers quickly.

Studio Software provides weekly reports that are very detailed and explains exactly what they spend time on. In my experience working with other frontend agencies, this isn’t the standard. At the beginning of our partnership, we had Hangout calls. We now communicate over Slack and use Jira.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have capable developers who deliver on time. Even though they joined the project at a late stage and didn’t have a chance to plan from the beginning, they were still able to pick up and continue development. Our partnership is going well, and we hope to continue working with them for a while.
