What was the scope of their involvement?
We brought Studio Software the idea, and we’re designing it together.
We knew the functionalities and how we wanted the app to look and feel, and Studio Software has been helping us design, build, and test it. There are a lot of connections and APIs that we’ve been using to bring in data.
The app works for iOS and Android, but there is a web-based component of it as well. There is the consumer-facing app, and then the commercial side where buyers can log in and see users who are willing to sell.
How did you come to work with Studio Software?
They were referred to us. We met with them and felt good about their team. We felt like Adam (Co-Founder, CEO) really knew what he was doing and that they would be a good company to work with.
How much have you invested with them?
So far, we’ve invested between $200,000–$220,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in September 2021, and it is ongoing.

We went from the design stages where we just had ideas, to a complete app 6–7 months later.

We use Jira to track progress, and we have daily calls.

They’ve been able to do everything for us. They have front- and backend developers, project managers, design teams, and DevOps all in-house.
Studio Software communicates well with us, and they’ve been there every step of the way. Any time we bring something up, they fix it immediately.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s been a few times during the middle of the process when we feel like they’ve lost a little bit of momentum on the project, but that is somewhat expected.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Communicate and make sure that you’re following up with them. Make sure that if there is a problem, they’re fixing it. You need to stay focused on your end of things and realize that there will be pros and cons to every decision you make.

The project was built with PHP and React.js. We started cooperation in the middle of the year, and the first module was delivered on time, after three months.

We are impressed with the way they organize their work - they were able to kick off the project quickly and helped us achieve our goals. I brought them a code base that needed refactoring, and we started out slow. Once I was confident that they could execute and understand the platform, we began to ramp up. Project management has been good. Obviously, we always want it faster and cheaper, but the quality is really good. We used Slack and Jira to communicate back and forth.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They really desire to get it done the way we want it. That’s the best thing about working with them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There always room for improvement. The project has taken longer than we originally planned but that may be partially my team’s responsibility. I’ve also urged them to speak up when they don’t understand something. At first, they would just go with what they thought it was. So, it took a while to get the communication going.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Create a super clear project proposal and hold daily stand-up meetings. We also took our sprints from two weeks to one week. We found that two weeks was a little long to stay disconnected. So, compressed timelines have helped us drop more features.

We have created the first open service in Poland to estimate creditworthiness, compare many loans, generate and automatically fill in applications simultaneously to several banks. I am the Product Owner and I am responsible for marketing.

For what projects/services did your company hire Studio Software?
The original version of the website required improvement in terms of the user interface, which was unintuitive and had an outdated design. In addition, the mechanisms used to administrate the process of generating documents for the website user required optimization.
What were your goals for this project?
The purpose of cooperation with Studio Software was to design and implement a new website interface that allows the user to use its functions in the easiest way possible - i.e., in particular, to be able to easily compare mortgage loan offers and generate a set of documents needed to send loan applications. In addition, we needed to thoroughly rebuild the mechanisms for handling customer requests.

How did you select this vendor?
After talking with several potential vendors, we noticed that the Studio Software team not only knows how to create software but also perfectly understands our business needs. The combination of these two elements decided to start cooperation.

The project began with a thorough analysis of our business needs and creating a list of key functionalities and priorities. The project was implemented in 2-week sprints. At each stage, we could count on a number of suggestions that helped develop optimal solutions on both the backend and frontend.
What was the team composition?
There were several people involved in the project from Studio Software side - 1x Project Manager, 1x Graphic Designer, 2x Backend developer, 1x Frontend developer.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
Thanks to the designed new version of the interface, we have noted a big increase in involvement in the functions offered by jakikredyt. Panel management from the administrator's side has become less time-consuming. We have also been noticed by the media, which assess us as a modern and innovative tool that helps clients get credit. The change also positively affected the possibility of attracting more investors to the project.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
The project manager responsible for running the project was great. We value cooperation with her not only for amazing communication, care for the progress of the project in Jira, but above all for creativity and the ability to suggest relevant solutions.

I’m the co-founder and tech lead at RMPL Sp. z o.o., a soccer fan website in Poland. The site gets roughly ten million visits each month.

What challenge were you trying to address with Studio Software?
We needed help developing a new version of our website. We had worked on it internally for several years, but we’d always outsourced frontend development.

What was the scope of their involvement?
Studio Software developed the frontend of our website. We had a half-finished project when they started, and we recently launched the new version of the site. Studio Software continues to make improvements.
What is the team composition?
We work with one frontend developer from Studio Software. We do most of the project management and backend development ourselves.
How did you come to work with Studio Software?
Studio Software saw that our project was taking some time, and they approached us to see if they could help. We were working with another vendor at the time. Studio Software’s owner sent emails every few months asking how it was going and if they could assist. He was persistent enough that we eventually decided to hire them. We’re happy with this decision.

We started working together in July 2018, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’re really pleased with the results. Everything has gone smoothly. People have been waiting for this new version of the website, and it seems like they’re happy with the way it looks and works.
How did Studio Software perform from a project management standpoint?
Studio Software is very professional and flexible. Whenever they’re working on our project, I have daily contact with the frontend developer, who delivers quickly.
Studio Software provides weekly reports that are very detailed and explains exactly what they spend time on. In my experience working with other frontend agencies, this isn’t the standard. At the beginning of our partnership, we had Hangout calls. We now communicate over Slack and use Jira.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They have capable developers who deliver on time. Even though they joined the project at a late stage and didn’t have a chance to plan from the beginning, they were still able to pick up and continue development. Our partnership is going well, and we hope to continue working with them for a while.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There aren’t any anything negatives about working with them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Work with them. They deliver, and they’re flexible enough to adjust to requests.

We needed someone to develop our e-commerce site.

What was the scope of their involvement?
They developed our e-commerce shop for all of our sweets brands. It’s a complex e-commerce site—we have 300 SKUs. They used PHP and Magento to develop the site. They also did the graphics and UX for the shop.
We went to their office in the beginning to discuss the UI/UX of the e-commerce shop. We’d go over their designs, and they’d provide us with insights. We’re now on the second version, and they continue to do updates.
What is the team composition?
My team is currently in contact with one project manager. In the beginning, we also discussed the project with the CEO.
How did you come to work with Studio Software?
We looked at different companies for our e-commerce shop, and we liked Studio Software’s offer the best. We’d also done a few marketing websites prior with them to make our brand more visible online. We initially discovered them through a referral.
We started working together in 2017 and the work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The data from Google Analytics is promising. We’ve been able to increase sales on the site.
How did Studio Software perform from a project management standpoint?
We use Jira for all the reporting and analysis. They also plan all of the meetings through Jira. In the beginning, we had a few meetings in-house at Studio Software’s office. They have a really nice place.
We communicate now a few times per week. They send us monthly reports, sometimes even weekly ones. They also use Skype calls, and we occasionally go back to their office since it’s not far.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re very responsive. The project manager is very good at what she does. She knows every single thing about the project. There’s excellent communication, and they have plenty of ideas and advice for improvements.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s nothing I’d have them improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Just be yourself. They do a wonderful job. They know what they’re doing, and they’re trustworthy.
