What challenge were you trying to address with BangLUXOR Agency?

Because of the pandemic, we had to upgrade our website and improve our virtual engagement with clients.

What was the scope of their involvement?

BangLUXOR developed our new website and implemented a CRM into the platform. We liked the front page that they made initially, and that design was replicated on all other pages.

What is the team composition?

We were in touch mainly with Andrés (CEO). I believe he worked with one other teammate.

How did you come to work with BangLUXOR Agency?

We created an RFP on a freelancing platform and received multiple proposals, out of which we liked BangLUXOR’s the most. Andrés sent us a design proposal free of charge.

The project cost around $10,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with BangLUXOR in mid-March 2020 when the lockdown was starting in Colombia, and the project ended in April or early-May 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

This is a tricky question, given that we started working on the new site during the pandemic, and events are practically forbidden in Colombia now. As such, there aren’t a lot of people coming to the website. We’ve had a few people contact us, but it’s a difficult time.

However, the CRM system allows us to work better as a company. We’ve linked the site with our social networks, and clients like its design a lot. 

How did BangLUXOR Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

We didn’t have to communicate excessively, and the relationship was fluid. BangLUXOR made all the changes we asked for within a week. The process was really strong. We talked with Andrés via phone and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The design proposal they sent us was exactly what we wanted. BangLUXOR was amazing in terms of design. They probably based that design on our old website, and they simply did it.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could work a little faster.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

It’s important to be open about what you want and make sure you know what that is. Once you ask for it, BangLUXOR will do it.

Everything worked perfectly, they were very agile and provided us with great recommendations so the results were even better than we expected.

Everything was great, they were always available. Whenever we contacted them, they responded immediately, so the communication and the whole process was very agile, this is why we managed to finish the project in such a short time.

I started working with them in 2019, and they just finished something that I needed about a month ago in September 2020. They have been taking care of fixing issues since then.

They are very good. I believe they are not only very good in the technical aspects, but especially when it comes to client service. I had previous experiences with other companies, and the very complicated part was that I could no longer contact the people I worked with and get proper client service. BangLUXOR was always ready for me, and the person I worked with would always return my calls or emails. He would help me with my requests.

It was very good. We always had conversations by telephone, Skype, or any platform.

We hired BangLUXOR Agency to improve the home page of the National Bicycle Forum website, and to support us in the construction of a module through which people would have access to the event's agenda.

What were your goals for this project?

The objectives of the project were to make the home page of our website more attractive, intuitive, organized, and that people could easily access the agenda of the forum activities. Likewise, once people viewed the agenda, they could firstly save and schedule the selected activity in their personal calendars, and secondly enter the link of the specific activity and access it.

We selected BangLUXOR Agency for its background and excellent recommendations from others who had already worked with the agency. It was a high-level recommendation.

Once we selected BangLUXOR Agency we had 2 previous meetings to detail the process and describe what we wanted to solve and have on our website.

Subsequently, the agency presented us with a proposal of how the home page and other requested details would look, and we immediately gave it approval, since what they exposed us contained absolutely everything we wanted, but above all, within the time required by us.

Once the design and other details were approved, the agency began the process of adjustments and creation, and delivered the project in the agreed time with a high level of quality.

We always talk to the project leader. But we were informed that there was a team of at least 2 people to support the process. Team that was always constantly attentive to our requirements, and that provided solutions immediately

From the moment the agency started the work and delivered the results, we had a 100% increase in visits to the website. The comments that came to us were always fulfilled where they highlighted exactly what we had asked for, an intuitive, orderly and easy to access page.

It is noteworthy that our event was virtual, so the improvement of the page made by the agency was crucial for said event

The project leader was always ready for us. He always responded to our calls and requests. He was always organized, and attentive, but above all, he quickly met our needs given the required time conditions.

They’ve had a great impact. Our clients can see we’re a legit company, and also the perception and presentation that the website has looks and feels like we are an already established company. They were really focused on creating what we needed. For the price that they gave us, the features that they delivered were really nice.

We were in contact with the general manager. We communicated with them through WhatsApp or email. They were very responsive and would respond in less than two hours.

Their communication is impressive. They were very open to our needs and actually listened. They always reply to any questions we have.

Honestly, there is nothing I can think of right now. The only thing that I would say is that when they do the presentation for the website, they could also include something about marketing.

Be very specific about what you need. They are really good at what they do, but if you don’t know what you want, it will be hard for them to deliver what you need.

What challenge were you trying to address with Bangluxor?

The biggest issue was communication. I had to keep chasing the vendor with calls and follow ups just to get any response, and most of the time there was none. The project ended up being 8 weeks late, and even then there was no clear update or accountability from their side. Each week they would make one small change and then disappear again for days, which made the whole process slow and frustrating.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They were hired to develop our website, but the result fell short of expectations in terms of quality. The front end looked acceptable, even though it was delivered very late, but the real issue started afterward. As soon as I tried to make edits, the system became unstable. Things kept breaking, and the whole setup felt fragile and poorly built. It wasn't possible to do any edits or certain sections and also the site was crashing due to the weird developed parts but also if they were answering me or at least do the edits then I would give them 4 even after being late
