I have shared my new website with my existing clients and network of tax professionals. They had nothing but positive feedback on the design of the site and commented on its professional look.

After our initial meeting, Azuro Digital had kept me up to date on any progress that was made on the site, whether it was technical in nature or design related, which was highly appreciated. The estimated time for completion was approximately 2 months, however I was able to have a completed and functional website within 3 weeks.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

A professional design and functional website was created for my business in a matter of 3 weeks. Timing was important to me and they were able to deliver. Additionally, I was provided with tutorial sessions on how to maintain and update my site free of charge. There was no pressure to purchase additional products which was refreshing.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing comes to my mind. I am very happy with the service.

Daniel was great. No matter what, he always got back to me quickly. He always did what he said he’d do on time.

Daniel’s understanding of web development stands out. He absolutely knew what he was doing the entire time; he was never guessing and it showed.

No, he did a very good job all the way through. I can’t find where they could’ve done better.

My advice is to contact them; that’s the first step in getting a proper web presence.

After I chose to work with Azuro Digital, we did a kickoff meeting and an analysis of the type of site that I needed; we settled on a website made in WordPress. We had some back and forth on the creation of the website, focusing on the layout and the design.

I was looking online through 4–5 different firms’ sites to manage the project. I went through a bid process, and Azuro Digital submitted a proposal. I spoke with Daniel, had a meeting and he really impressed me. I liked the fact that he was a small boutique and did everything himself. The pricing for all of the firms was around the same, so I didn’t choose him for his price point — it was more Daniel himself that I liked and wanted to forward with.

I invested $3,100 in the development of the site.

What is the status of this engagement?

The whole project took only one month. We worked together in March 2021, and everything was finished earlier than our discussed timeframe.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We were looking at the quality of the work to make sure that they can provide and the type of design and results that I was looking for. The ease of work and response times are also huge factors, aside from how quickly they get the job done. Azuro Digital delivered on what they said they were going to do, and they overachieved on all aspects. The project was done before the given timeline, and it was done above the quality that was expected.

Daniel had different applications where I could get the information that I needed — even his invoicing was really easy to use. He actually suggested some software that would help my business.

Their professionalism and response time was superb. I was amazed by how quickly Daniel got the job done.

There is nothing that I can think of that they could improve. I was happy with the job and there was no real downside.

I recommend that you should know what you want. If you already know what you want and you have the content ready, Daniel can get the job done very quickly for you.

They were able to build an amazing site for us, capturing our vision very well. Because we’re brand new to this industry, we're just beginning to promote the website. People are looking at it and like what they see. It looks like we have potential investors as well.

We communicated mainly through email and text messages. Our teams had phone calls and Zoom meetings too.

Their professionalism was a big plus. They did the work in a timely manner, meeting every deadline. Azuro Digital maintained a non-judgmental work environment. They were helpful and ready to catch our vision and then put it into words. Their team doesn’t give up. They try until the customer is satisfied.

It says on their website that they write content, and I would’ve expected that they’d write everything. One thing they could improve on is to write as much content as the customer wants them to.

I had been searching online for a website designer when a friend recommended Daniel's services. Before then, I was negotiating with 3 other web designers. I reviewed a couple of works he had done in the past and was convinced that he would deliver on my goals for the website. It was my sole decision.

After consultation with Daniel, he sent me a checklist of what he required. I prepared the content and other items and sent to Daniel. Within a very short time, I got the first draft of the website which required little revisions. Daniel created the website design and form and also sourced for appropriate images for the respective areas of my practice.

I launched my website a couple of weeks ago and I am very hopeful that there would be increased traffic and better search result rankings in the weeks to come. The few persons who have visited my website have had positive reviews which reinforced my belief in the professional work done by Daniel.

What challenge were you trying to address with Houle Digital?

I started posting pictures of my artwork on Instagram. I got about 10,000 followers and thought it’d be great to branch out and get a website going. I approached a couple of companies and got started in an engagement.

However, my previous vendor disappeared and gave me a ton of excuses for months. I fired him and lost $500. That’s when I found Houle Digital and engaged with them. I started talking to Daniel (Owner) and told him my problem with the previous vendor.

Houle Digital designed and built my website. It features a blog and a picture gallery. The website also introduces me as an artist, shows my work, and features my practical theory. It’s a place to share my thoughts and give people direction. I have plans to add an e-commerce store and tutorial section in the future.

The site went live within 12 days. It looks and works great, and I’m happy with it. Daniel was very diligent. He listened to what I asked for and delivered on expectations. What’s more, he made whatever tweaks I wanted. The process was easy.

Project management was excellent — a total ten out of ten. Daniel met the deadline. I was so impressed that I wanted to give him an extra $200 and he said no, thank you. He was really good and ethical.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Daniel was invested in my success, not just ticking off the boxes. He’s younger and doesn’t have all the experience in the world, but he makes up for it in tenacity and sheer drive. I plan on working with him again.

Be direct and tell him what you want. Have a clear plan, lay it out, and then Daniel will take it from there and produce a good product for you.

I found Houle Digital through Kijiji and spoke with their Founder, Daniel Houle. I was pleased with our conversation on Zoom and decided to give them a shot.

This was a complete website build, from design concepts, writing and implementation. Each page was built carefully with drafts sent to me within days. The site was built in WordPress using Elementor.

Daniel was my only contact - which might have been the best part of the experience. I was communicating directly with the web developer, rather than someone who would act as an intermediary. This meant that everything I communicated was understood and implemented the way I wanted it.

I had a wonderful experience. I explained my requirements to Daniel, and he understood my vision for the website. He made revisions until everything was absolutely perfect. I now have the website that I always wanted. And it only took 3 weeks to complete!

It was very simple - Daniel and I spoke directly on a regular basis. That was it. Nothing complicated about the communication process. Everything was done within hours or days. It was clear he was focused on my project and making my site perfect for me!

Results. I wanted a beautiful website, and that’s what I got… in a very short period of time!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Every company can improve… I’d say that Houle Digital’s most valuable asset is the fact that they work collaboratively with their clients and provide unlimited revisions. They’re currently a small company, so it’s easy to do that. However, in the future (when they get bigger), they might have trouble providing the same level of collaborative service with unlimited revisions. My biggest piece of advice is to try to maintain that most valuable asset, even as they scale.

Daniel and I set up a Zoom call. He asked me to prepare some of the intentions I had and what I was attempting to accomplish with my new site. I stated the areas of focus I wanted to showcase along with some visual ideas I had to present those points. He then took those ideas and presented me with a beginning template for my site.

He helped me understand how to navigate the design tool to play around with the ideas as I told him I liked being creative and would attempt to try a few things I had in mind. After I played around with the site, I asked him for help in certain areas, for his opinion on how it looked, etc.

He was honest, gave me pointers about what was not necessarily professional looking and I asked him to make adjustments and correct those areas. I loved what he came up with and my finished product was clean, easy to read, and reflective of my personality.
