My website was slow loading and not properly tracking conversions for marketing purposes. I reached out to API to discuss a full rebuild with the goal of a fast loading website that was able to properly track conversions across analytics and other various marketing channels.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I interviewed quite a few companies and API assured me they could rebuild the website in a timely manner and accomplish all of the goals I had set forth. I started this project in November expecting to be launched prior to the new year. My previous website was built on Wordpress and they suggested it be rebuilt on Webflow of which I had no experience.

We had numerous phone calls to discuss the project. I even sent in very detailed documents about what I expected to accomplish in this project. I submitted a document saying what would make this a successful project which included - increased conversions, better site load speed, form tracking, appropriate seo set up on the back end.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

From the beginning the entire workflow was a disaster. Constant misunderstanding and work poorly done. It is clear that they outsource their work overseas and thus the communication between myself and the people doing the work was terrible. The project took more than twice as long as was expected and the product they delivered was well below expectations. I've spent thousands of dollars cleaning up their work. The website eventually launched at the end of February but I continued to find problems.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a digital marketing company. It was clear very early on that working with them would be a problem. First off they outsource everything overseas. The project took double the time it was supposed and eventually we launched when it wasn't even ready. They weren't able to put header images on the mobile version of the site. They load speed was terrible.

Per their own reports it fluctuated between 7 and 16 seconds of page load speed. It was not set up to properly track conversions. It also did not scale properly across devices. Basically none of the goals of the build were accomplished. I have since spent thousands of dollars having others fix the site.

Additionally, it came to my attention at a later date that the entire header design of the home page of my website was copied from another site. Further, although this company resides in an entirely different state than my business they have since built a website for a direct competitor in my same town and directly copied elements of my website for the competitors site. Down to the exact words and images.

Having duplicate content on different websites is terrible for both sites which they clearly don't seem to know or just don't care. One can argue whether a company should agree to work with a direct competitor but copying specific elements, words and images off of my site that I provided to them and putting those elements on a competitors site is completely unethical.

Everything was a mess from the beginning. Communication was terrible because all of the work was outsourced overseas. It was clear to me very early on that they appeared to have no idea what they were doing and it showed in the final product.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Nothing. Perhaps their ability to mislead and promise things they clearly had no ability to deliver on in order to get you to sign a contract.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

To start they should stop copying from other websites. They also should be more clear about what they are able to accomplish and what they are not.

I'm the founder and CEO of Elevation Concepts, a furniture manufacturing company. We design ergonomic office furniture; our specialty is standing desks with a writeable glass surface, glass, and fixed conference tables. We also design glass boards to write on vertical walls.

We needed to develop a website and an e-commerce platform. We had an existing website on Wix, but we outgrew it because it had limited capabilities; we couldn’t give our customers a good experience.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Agency Partner Interactive has developed a WordPress website. We wanted the site to represent our brand and compliment our product. The platform we had was okay, so they’ve built on it. They’ve taken it to improve it and make the website’s design more sleek, minimal, modern, and clean. In conjunction with another company, they’ve created a 3D product that allows users to design their desk and build it using custom colors.

We’re currently in phase two of the project. Then, we’ll start doing SEO, including backlinking, optimization, and blogs. We’ve had several preliminary meetings regarding SEO, and they’ve done their research and presented some initial information.

The website went live last week. We haven’t done any marketing yet, but people have been calling us about how amazing it is. Agency Partner Interactive knew what we wanted and executed our vision to perfection. The site is a phenomenal success.

Project management is fantastic. We have a link to a website to see the process and changes in real-time. They’ve also given us access to an editing tool to go through the project, make comments, and edit.

We mostly use email and Google Meet to communicate.

They want to help us grow our business and be successful. Moreover, they’ve taken ownership of the project, and it’s very comforting to know we’d get a good ROI.

Lay out a clear framework of what you want and be invested in the process. Additionally, doing your due diligence before starting the project will set you up for success.

Our commercial cleaning and restoration supply business has operated in the DFW area for almost 40 years. My father and uncles started the company in the 80's to supply their cleaning business. I came on in 2006 and my sister and I now run the business. We are a very small company with only 7 employees. I do all the purchasing, marketing and whatever else needs doing. We all wear many hats!

Our original project included rebuilding our Magento website and updating to version 2.0. Our website had been neglected for several years and was not functioning properly. We needed new tools that would sync up our internal processes and make order fulfilment smoother. We also needed a more prominent online presence and guidance all around for acquiring new customers via digital assets.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

The first thing we did was meet with them and discuss our business needs. We asked for several referrals and they provided them. They are a newer company but we met with Muhammad and Shahbaz and were really impressed. We felt really comfortable moving forward after recognizing what an amazing team they have at API. Ultimately though, the deciding factor was the vision they had for our companies growth.

Our original project with them was to rebuild our Magento website, update to version 2.0, build our class schedule page with a built in registration feature and modernize our online presence. It took a long time because of COVID. However, even with all the struggles of COVID, API managed to carry on conducting business with few setbacks.

We worked together through lots of development, many video calls and phone calls and even in person. Shahbaz actually drove a whole hour, many times, to come help me in person with some of things I was having trouble with. The dedication of this team is unparalleled.

This project was complete last year and we were ecstatic with the work that was done. We have continued to work with API on further development and just signed up to have them do our marketing and SEO as well. We could not be happier with this service. It feels very high end and boutique-y to be honest. I feel like we're getting a really great value for our money.

In the beginning, we spoke with Muhammad and Ashley and after we signed Shahbaz was our main point of contact. I have had many points of contact with each phase of development but it has never felt too much and I always knew who to contact for assistance. Every API member has been really impressive. Whoever they have recruiting for them is finding top notch talent.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We generated almost 7k in class registration sales in the 6 months after going live with the new site and that trend has continued since. It has been so much easier getting students enrolled in our classes and we haven't had to cancel any classes for lack of interest. Also, our average ticket from online sales increased by 32%. We are starting SEO and marketing efforts now and I fully expect those sales numbers to continue to climb.

They use an excellent project management software that I was actually already familiar with. This is a highly communicative team. They are very responsive. One of my biggest compliments of their service is that they have jumped on every single request I've had even those that were outside the scope of work I am paying them for like a phishing scheme email I received at one point. I always know who to call for what and they always respond in a timely manner.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The way most of this work is done is that you get a proposal, you sign it, they do the work they were contracted to do and that's it. Not with API. While they do utilize contracts, they make it clear from the get go that they want to grow with us and their actions make that clear.

They behave as a partner rather than a contracted firm. I feel like they see long term potential in our company and us in theirs. I have to call out Shahbaz here too. If you have the pleasure of working with him, you'll surely understand why I list him here. He has been so helpful in so many ways throughout our projects with API. Again, the talent this company wields is impressive!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Honestly, this company is like a really good band right before they blow up and start selling out stadiums. Before that, you can go see them at a hole in the wall venue and have an amazing experience for a reasonable price...but it won't be long before everyone catches on and you'll have to pay the stadium price. Sign up now while they're still playing dive bars! No, I can't think of a single thing I would have them do differently.

Using Wordpress our website was developed over several months. They implemented custom jewelry questionnaires to capture leads and schedule client consultations. Our website is heavily image based and they are working on creating a jewelry look book for ready made pieces. Eventually we will have a function able e-commerce store.

Two project managers worked with us and conducted several Zoom meetings throughout the project to ensure our needs were met. We also worked with our account manager from time to time to ensure our project was going smoothly and all of our concerns were addressed.

API made my website vision come to life. They are truly the best in the industry. They handled the entire project from start to finish with professionalism and care. My needs and concerns were always addressed promptly.

One of their project managers was very responsive and made sure that all of my questions were answered in a timely manner. He truly went above and beyond to make sure that every little detail was perfect.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were most impressed by their attention to detail and ability to ensure that all of our needs and concerns were met. They created a more beautiful website than I could have even imagined.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The best part of working with API is their ability to get things done in a timely manner. Every time I asked for an edit or photo swap, they were quick to make the necessary changes. At times some of our email threads would get long and laborious, so having more streamlined communication would have made the project go even smoother. But overall, we are very happy with their communication and follow up.

I reached out to them to help me build and launch my website. I had an idea of what I wanted but needed someone who could see my vision and help it come to fruition.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Agency Partner Interactive (API) is building our website for us. First, I gave them my vision, my logo, and some examples of websites I liked. I also gave them insight into my personality and how I wanted it reflected on the site and the content writing. As for the design, my requirements were that the site be very simple and user-friendly. 

The team is building the site in four phases, and they’re currently in phase three. They provide everything I need to build it and will later maintain and host it. They also offer content writing. Users can log in on the website and find women’s trendy shoes, starting from size 10 to up to sizes 15–16. The site will have categories based on occasions, shoe types, color schemes, and sizes. The API team will also help us add an Instagram link and a mailing list registry.

I work with a three-person project management team and another three teammates from API, including Chelsea (Business Development Executive) and Christa (Account Manager). In total, I work with six people from their team.

I wanted to work with a team that was patient and skilled. After doing a little research, I came across Clutch and began to read all of the wonderful comments and customer experiences people had with API, and I knew this was the agency for me. Being an entrepreneur, I don’t always know what I’m looking for, so Clutch was a godsend. Once I reached out to API, they got back to me quickly, and we had a call where I explained my vision.

Working with API has been a dynamic experience since our first call. Their constant open communication has been a driving force of the project. I also appreciate their patience in walking me through things and helping me understand them. Whenever I have a question or need more clarity on something, they provide answers with no problem. 

The site isn’t live yet; we have an estimated go-live timeframe of November 2022. I want the site to be done right the first time, and I trust the entire API team to make that happen. They’re very client-focused. Whatever I’m dealing with, they adjust and ensure we each have what we need to meet the deadlines and complete the project. 

How did Agency Partner Interactive LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

They meet the deadlines and stay on budget 100% of the time. They’ve found a way to work within my budget and make the project happen, which is very important for a new business owner because it’s easy to overspend on things we may not need. Moreover, they’ve itemized all the costs so I can see exactly what I’m paying for each phase. Therefore, they’re very transparent, which goes hand in hand with integrity.

They also understand my schedule. I’m working a regular nine-to-five job and starting my business, which implies long nights and days and an investment in money, time, and energy, and PI gets it.

We use ClickUp for project management, where we have action item lists, assignments, deadlines, and the capacity to add notes if needed. Everyone included is engaged in real-time and on the same page. This tool has been instrumental in keeping us organized. As for communication, we use Microsoft Teams for our conferences and email to communicate. They’ve made themselves available to me via phone calls 24/7, so I can contact them whenever I need to.

I’m impressed with API’s desire to see businesses succeed. This project isn’t just business for them; they really want to see me win. As the project progresses, they work everything out for me and help me — I feel taken care of.

No, I’ve been very satisfied with them.

Go into the relationship already seeing them as your partner because that’s how they’ll see you. They’re not there to micromanage or force you to do anything; they’ll listen and align with you. API is a one-stop shop if you want a great quality product.

I’ve worked with Agency Partner for around five years. So far, they’ve built three different websites for me and supported me in all my digital marketing efforts.

Recently, we went through a rebranding process across our entire company, also including our digital marketing platforms, logo, uniforms, and trucks. For this project, Agency Partner redesigned our logo and revamped our website to meet our vision. Through their creative digital design, they came up with a new look and feel that represented our new brand.

Muhammad (Founder & CEO) was involved and provided true insight into their brand and what they were prepared to provide. Agency Partner Interactive LLC provided a lot of reassurance and a long-term partnership, while other companies just provided typical sales pitches. What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I'm more than happy with Agency Partner Interactive LLC's work quality. The new website is set to be done in about a month, but we'll continue to use them as advisors for further changes to the site. We don't have any metrics since we're still developing the site. Once the website launches, we'll measure its effectiveness via our internal sales team, community feedback, and if our sponsors can still find us. 

How did Agency Partner Interactive LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

Agency Partner Interactive LLC is very realistic about their project deadlines — they understand that deadlines need to be adjusted because they rely on my team's response rate. Agency Partner Interactive LLC has been really good at keeping us in the loop and maintaining and updating timelines. They're on the mark at delivering when they anticipate. 

Typically, we communicate with Agency Partner Interactive LLC through emails — their project manager provides very detailed emails with notes from previous meetings. I also consult the proposal they sent at the beginning of the project to measure progress. Two of Agency Partner Interactive LLC's team members are in our regular meetings, and I'm in active communication with the project and account managers. 

Their team is transparent and detailed. My last creative partner took a long time to respond, but Agency Partner Interactive LLC is very responsive. Their project manager is always open to joining calls as needed but isn't pushy and understands that my small team is busy. He'll follow up as required but doesn't interfere with my daily calendar. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Agency Partner Interactive LLC is very responsive, and their advisors are very effective. Whenever I provide creative ideas, Agency Partner Interactive LLC will come in to provide the information needed and industry best practices. They're more than just the vendors creating our website — we look to Agency Partner Interactive LLC as advisors for the overall UX and redesign. 

Also, they have timely responses to anything that comes down from our leadership. They're effective in that their founder will get on calls with me and will escalate tasks so they're handled promptly. Those traits are very hard to find in a creative agency. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I have no constructive feedback for Agency Partner Interactive LLC. However, I would appreciate follow-up emails after our phone calls to highlight our progress. That, though, is more administrative, and Agency Partner Interactive LLC has never missed a deadline. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I'd advise customers to stay on top of the details and dedicate at least two teammates to the project. Sometimes, I'm spread thin, and Agency Partner Interactive LLC has to loop me back in. The only thing that has ever held our timeline up is my slow response time. So, I think any future customer should appoint one teammate to focus on the partnership with Agency Partner Interactive LLC. Agency Partner Interactive LLC is extremely detailed, and their project manager is fully immersed in the project.

We reviewed several different factors. The deadline for the website completion was coming up quick so we were looking for a company that could develop the website quickly at an affordable price.

We have more website views with the new website and a way to educate our players and prospective players about our games.

When the mobile version of the website was created, it was pretty clunky and the layout was not aesthetically pleasing. I let them know the layout changes and they were able to make the changes we needed.

I’m the senior director of marketing for TMGcore. We’re a liquid immersion computing and mining company that partners with major organizations like Dell and Intel on specific collaborations. We provide server and mining solutions to help people with everything from air cold to liquid immersion cooling.

We needed Agency Partner to develop a new website for us and take off marketing tasks from our plate that we didn’t have the bandwidth to do.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The discovery phase started in 2021, preceding the time I joined the company — I came on board right before the website development began. They walked us through the entire process and handled every single aspect of the project. At that time, we also signed a contract with them for their marketing and website services. 

We’ve since added more to their scope of work. In fact, our firm has let them host our website because of the way they handle all of our constraints. Agency Partner continues to maintain our WordPress site to this day.

In terms of features and functionality, the site’s purpose is for marketing and sales. It’s not an e-commerce platform. Rather, it’s specifically made for people to learn about our products and contact us.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We measure Agency Partner’s success through renewed business clicks, website visitors, and the results of specific projects. We’ve seen an increase in all of these things.

How did Agency Partner Interactive LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

Agency Partner’s project management is great. We use Monday to manage projects internally, but their team is using a different tool. To communicate, we use emails and Teams. Occasionally, we also use text messages and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The team is truly consistent in the work they do. They regularly deliver exactly what they say they’ll deliver. As a result, we have minimal back and forth in this regard. Overall, they’ve done a great job. In fact, they’ve offered to hire people to help us with our individual projects as we work through some of our more extraneous projects. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any.

Agency Partner Interactive LLC has revamped our website — they've completely redesigned the site. However, I'm not sure what specific technologies they used for this project. Once the project was completed, we launched the redesigned website.

Agency Partner Interactive LLC keeps us in the loop on project progress and schedules regular meetings. Their entire team is involved in every step of the project. Whenever we have feedback, they implement it quickly. They use a project management tool, but I can't remember what it's called. We primarily communicate through emails.

Agency Partner Interactive LLC is very organized and knows exactly what they're doing. They don't make any false promises — they always deliver what they've promised. If there is something Agency Partner Interactive LLC's team can't achieve, they convey those issues well. They know their industry very well.
