Asynchronous Queue System: They introduced the step of processing our orders as a Laravel-based queue system instead of a wait-to-complete model. This enabled the system to receive the order of the customer in real time and the heavy lifting done in the background.
Redis Integration: They introduced a high-performance Redis caching layer that held product metadata and inventory particularly so that the main database was not being accessed by thousands of simultaneous users.
Query Optimization / Database Refactoring: They have profiled all our current SQL queries and re-written them to be faster, especially our complex filtering system (size, brand and discount depth).
Atomic Locking Mechanisms: To address our duplicate order issue, they came up with a bespoke solution based on atomic locks to give a user the impression of being able to three times during a lag spike and only one transaction would be ever made.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The physical outcome was the most evident, and this was the stability of the site at the time of high traffic. In the past, whenever a big brand was unveiled the checkout process would slow down or stop intermittently. Following the implementation, the spinning wheel during check out disappeared.
When we were on promotion periods, the number of orders that were processed successfully per minute increased by very large margins. Moreover, our customer services on the issue of Duplicate Charges or Order Not Found dropped to almost zero. The system now manages the fast selling sales in a composed and stable pace.

Acquaint Softtech used a very strict Agile approach. They were very receptive to our Slack channels and very well adapted within our Jira workflows.
Timelines: They met all the key milestones, especially the most important deadline of our mid-year End of Season event.
Responsiveness: their key feature was the proactive communication. In case they discovered a bug on a legacy feature they were working on they did not simply ignore it, they marked it and suggested a fix and usually had a patch ready before it could affect our sprint.

Having just launched, we could notice that at once we started feeling quite confident in handling sensitive data. The system automated access checks which would have been done manually. Onboarding of the staff also became more regular, and audits no longer demanded gathering information using various sources.
Of the greatest importance, sensitive data access has been managed without even decelerating the staff, and that was among our greatest concerns when we embarked on the project.

The most impressive thing about them was their ability to strike a balance between strict privacy and access regulations and the realities of operations. Numerous vendors are oriented either on security only or on usability only, meanwhile, Acquaint Softtech always kept in mind both.
They were also familiar with laravel and this showed in the manner they cleanly accomplished permissions, APIs and audit logs. The system is strong without being cumbersome or limiting to the end users.
