They were able to deliver the project on time and within our budget. We used Zoom, phone calls, and email as a means of communicating with them. They also redefined their process, making the import and export procedure a lot smoother. Prior to that, we were manually managing it through Excel, which was a little hectic.

Their communication was great, and they listened and catered to our needs.

Everything went well, and I have nothing to complain about.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They migrated our SAP from EHP4 to EHP6.  Since then, we’ve upgraded to EHP7. We built our SugarCRM application and other services on top of the same platform. They deployed the sales automation module and we’ve been enhancing with other add-on features. They continue to work on it.

Our initial project took a couple of months. New modules are made in a month’s time. We’re adding a few enhancements. The time it takes to implement ranges from weeks to about a month.

They’re experts in both SAP and CRM implementation, easily understanding our requirements and providing a solution accordingly. Their previous experience is the reason we shortlisted them. They really sped up the deployment process for this project.

Project management is good. We communicate via email and a ticketing system. They track their own progress through Google Docs and sometimes we exchange updates through an Excel file.

They’re very understanding. We can easily discuss concerns or changes we want. They support us in accomplishing tasks within our intended timelines.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Project management could be improved. They could have better tools or a more systematic approach to prevent delays. Our projects may be too small for project management tools to make sense, though.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They migrated us to S/4 Hana. They enabled a Fury system for us. It is a digitalization system, allowing people to do online transactions, seeing receivables, payables, budget, and more.

There were 10-12 people on the team, which was mainly offshore. The project manager was on-site, managing the team. I also interacted regularly with the CEO.

They did a presentation for us. We invited several companies to participate in an RFP. We chose this team for their technical efficiency and expertise, as well as the high feedback rating on the RFP results.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Regarding the migration phase, there was major transformation in our financial management. We had no issues in producing our financial reports and operations when the new system was deployed. 

Regarding the Fury system phase, they had some resources leave the company, and it was not as smooth for us. However, they delivered what they promised, and there has been a major transformation with people doing daily transactions. Overall, we are satisfied with their work.

How did Accely Inc perform from a project management standpoint?

They did pretty well in this area. There were some communication gaps with the offshore team, and there were some delays, which were the result of a product issue, not the team’s fault. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have technical knowledge and expertise, which they demonstrated throughout the project. They worked diligently to minimize downtime during the migration phase of the project. The management listened to our needs and wanted to make the project successful.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They underestimated the Fury phase budget and struggled with the delivery.

I am happy to recommend them for a migration project.

I’d highlight how responsive and proactive they are. They’re also very experienced in many different programming languages and platforms. They have access to many resources to fit any need and execute high-quality work.

Sometimes there are delays in delivery, partly because some of their resources are offshore or working remotely. It’s also due to their meticulous process of ensuring a high-quality delivery.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They’ve also supported us during the design phases of multiple projects, along with development and support—the complete lifecycle. They produce functional design documents, and they deliver complete solutions, architecting the solutions and the processes.

They’ve helped us with several projects and solution deliveries pertaining to the SAP area and its modules. They’ve worked with us on all of our SAP HANA modules, including sales, distribution, and project maintenance. The programming language used is ABAP, and they’ve also helped us with a lot of core development on the AJAX stack: Asynchronous JavaScript and XML.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The QA hasn’t been a problem at all: we conduct full user testing on the design and development work, then after signing these off, we move into production. They have subject-matter expertise, and they have experience working on different projects for different customers, so they bring different mindsets and solutions to the table.

From that perspective, we’ve gotten a lot of ideas on the consulting side, and it’s helped our business processes. They can identify which areas require standard business operating processes and which need a custom one.

How did Accely INC. perform from a project management standpoint?

They take accountability and responsibility for project delivery. We have on-site deployments, so we have in-person team interactions rather than through any tools. From a software skill and culture perspective, they blend in easily.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The quality and knowledge level of their consultants are pretty high, and we’ve never had any complaints.

I don’t have any feedback in that area. Whatever the job and the scope assigned to them was, they fulfilled to the desired standard.

It’s easy to work with them as they never hesitate to engage with the end-user or with the internal teams in order to come up with a solution. They’ve always felt like a part of our team and are willing to work hard. Their communication skills are high, which has added a lot, and they think outside the box.

They have done great in maintaining continuity between the projects. Accely is fully transparent and we have full access to all levels of the process.
