What was the scope of their involvement?
The software platform that Accely provides lets us capture all of our exports, billing, documentation, compliance, files, and others. Their platform isn’t a part of our standard system applications and products (SAP) system, but we run it parallel to our system. Whenever we bill anything, invoices are tracked, and all related compliance documents are done through the software. For financial credits, we have a check-in option where our customers’ finance control is registered.
When we receive a purchase order, we place it into our manufacturing unit through the SAP system. Once we do the billing, we can capture the invoice and transfer all data from the SAP system into Accely’s module. From there, we can create reports, indexes, and credit letters, among other things. This way, we can track all payments, compliances, and other bank-related documents.
What is the team composition?
We work with a project manager who answers our questions and manages the solution.
How did you come to work with Accely INC.?
We first met our project manager with our previous service provider. When he presented their solutions, we felt that they adapted to our requirements well. After he moved to Accely, he suggested that we do the same. Knowing him and his expertise, we decided to adapt to that change.

The project went live on time, so we were able to migrate our processes into the system in a timely manner.
How did Accely INC. perform from a project management standpoint?
Accely INC. performed well in terms of project management. We had a weekly meeting, where they shared the state of the project and reportedany issue that came up. We didn’t use any project management tools, but we had an Excel document that we used to share data.
We typically communicated through Microsoft Teams.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The project lead was an extremely knowledgeable person. He had extensive industry experience, which definitely helped drive the project forward.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Their project management skills could still improve. The project lead also acted as the technical lead, which was not the best way to work on a project. There should be another separate individual to take care of the technical aspects of the project.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Make sure to clearly communicate the scope of the project. This system was new to us, so we were not able to scope the engagement as best as we could.

The entire system works seamlessly. We currently have 12–13 people regularly using the system, and they haven’t experienced any issues.

Accely INC. has delivered on all of their promises, and they’re always willing to go above and beyond to meet our goals. They are also highly committed and transparent throughout. Their retention rate is also great — we’ve had no changes in the team since we started.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It would have been great if we had a more detailed scheduling and planning process. We wanted to see how long it would take and how many people were needed for each stage of the project before we started.

It would be a good idea for you to assign someone internally to oversee the project.
