The project included the website’s UX/UI design, responsive implementation, Shopify theme development and the technical setup of our e-commerce platform. A key part of the work was the development of custom product configurators. These allow customers to configure our steel products by selecting dimensions, materials, finishes and available product options. The main deliverables included: - Shopify store design and development - Custom product configurators - Responsive desktop and mobile layouts - Product and collection page development - Integration of e-commerce functions and third-party tools - Technical improvements, maintenance and troubleshooting - Ongoing design, usability, performance and SEO-related improvements The collaboration is ongoing, and the store continues to be expanded and optimized as our product range and business requirements develop.

Vitec successfully launched and continuously developed our Shopify store, including custom configurators that allow customers to order made-to-measure steel products online. Measurable outcomes include: - A fully operational Shopify store with responsive desktop and mobile layouts - Custom configuration workflows for multiple product categories - 61 keywords generating 81 organic Google rankings in Switzerland - An increase in the SISTRIX Visibility Index from 0.0343 to 0.1088 during the latest measurement period - Continuous delivery of new features, design improvements and technical adjustments The collaboration is ongoing. A larger SEO and content optimization package is currently being implemented, so its full impact will be evaluated separately after launch.

What impressed us most is Vitec’s ability to translate complex product requirements into practical Shopify solutions. Our products are highly customizable, and their team developed configurators that make these options understandable and accessible to customers. We also value their flexibility and long-term commitment. They do not treat the website as a one-time project but continue to support its development as our products and requirements evolve. Their team listens carefully, responds constructively to detailed feedback and is willing to refine solutions until they work for our business.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Vitec GmbH could have done differently?

The main area for improvement would be more proactive quality assurance before presenting larger work packages for review. With complex layouts and technical requirements, some details occasionally require additional correction rounds that could be identified earlier through a more systematic internal review. Clearer documentation of completed changes, open items and expected timelines would also make larger implementation phases easier to manage. In particular, technical SEO, redirects, canonical URLs and responsive layouts should be checked against an agreed acceptance checklist before delivery. That said, Vitec responds positively when issues are identified and works with us to correct them.

We hired Vitec GmbH for the development of a mobile-optimized MVP of Campnow as a web app for direct market testing. The project also included the integration of two interfaces with campsite management software providers.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Vitec GmbH handles the technical development of Campnow’s mobile-optimized MVP as a web app. The scope of work includes the implementation of the core platform, the interactive map, campsite search functionality, availability display, campsite detail pages, and the UI for mobile use.
Moreover, Vitec GmbH has developed backend functionality for Campnow, including an owner dashboard for platform administration and a separate campsite dashboard for participating campsites. 
Through the campsite dashboard, campsite operators can access their profile and adjust the information shown on their detail page, such as campsite data, descriptions, and relevant availability-related information. The platform also includes a simple authentication setup, allowing campsite users to access the relevant backend functions.
We’re continuing to work with Vitec GmbH beyond the initial MVP phase. Their role includes ongoing technical support, further development, improvements based on market feedback, and maintenance of the platform as Campnow evolves.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Vitec GmbH has delivered a functional, mobile-optimized MVP of Campnow that can be tested directly in the market. One key outcome was the successful go-live of the platform on July 1, 2026, starting with the Engadin as the pilot region.At launch, 10 out of 13 campsites in the Engadin were represented on Campnow. The platform also included two integrations with campsite management software providers, enabling availability data to be displayed more efficiently.
Further measurable outcomes included the implementation of campsite detail pages, an interactive availability map, an owner dashboard for platform administration, and campsite dashboards that allow operators to manage the information shown on their detail pages.
In the first days after launch, Campnow already generated measurable user activity, including campsite searches, campsite detail views, and clicks through to campsite booking or contact options. This showed that users were not only visiting the platform but actively using it to search for available campsites.

We really appreciate the passion and commitment shown by Monali (Project Manager). She’s highly motivated to make Campnow a success and is always very responsive and easy to reach. Her reaction time is excellent, and she actively contributes ideas instead of just executing tasks. It really feels like we’re building Campnow together, which is great to experience.

Although I initially provided them with some designs I had made on a PowerPoint presentation, the team handled the entire project by themselves. The presentation included an idea for the style I wanted to see on the website and some of the implementations needed. As for the technology stack, they've used Elementor and WordPress. They've also added a lot of plug-ins.

Vitec GmbH has really understood my business needs, which are very special. This website addresses a very sensitive and hard topic, so I had a clear vision for it, and they've implemented it all. Overall, the results have been outstanding and exceeded my expectations.

It has been great to see how fast and how well Vitec GmbH delivers. Their communication is very clear and consistent every time. Moreover, they've always delivered on time. On top of that, the whole process of hiring them and setting everything up was brilliant.

Vitec GmbH has also delivered on budget, and there have been no surprises cost-wise — this is very crucial when having a limited budget. The team has implemented all changes within budget, which is great and shows that they're empathic. I have confidence in them, which has set a good foundation for future collaboration.

Working directly with Marc has been a success factor in our collaboration. He has been responsible for the project and for coordinating everything, so he has been involved in each and every problem and query I've had.  They are very professional. They are very good at what they do.

I can't think of anything Vitec GmbH could improve on. Along the way, I saw some things to improve and change. Thus, I spoke to them about how we could make things better, and they implemented it very fast, showing a deep understanding of my needs. Although everyone would like to have their website ready in four weeks, this is just a dream, so I can't say that they could have been faster. Overall, everything was perfect.

Marc has very good project management skills, so he has ownership of the projects. Initially, we had very good alignment calls, so I can only recommend to leverage these calls, as it's very helpful to speak to him directly.
