They didn’t approach it like a standard real estate website rebuild, which was important. They reworked it into a more dynamic, search-driven platform. 

On the frontend, they built a React-based interface with strong focus on map interaction. That ended up being one of the most used parts of the system, users naturally started searching visually instead of scrolling listings.

On the backend, Node.js APIs were structured around real estate workflows: 

1. Smart filtering system for location, price, and property type 
2. Lead routing logic that distributed enquiries based on availability and agency rules 
3. Scheduling system tied into calendars so booking a visit didn’t require back-and-forth calls

On the user side, people started finding relevant properties faster. Instead of going through dozens of irrelevant listings, the map-based search and filters actually narrowed things down in a way that felt intuitive. 
We also saw fewer situations where appointments were missed or double-booked, which used to happen occasionally when everything was handled manually or across disconnected tools.
