Both targeted custom development and staff augmentation were part of the partnership.

 In terms of staff augmentation, Acquaint Softtech assigned developers who collaborated closely with our Vienna team.  They attended our internal standups, went over backlog items with us, and even took part in a few workshops on regulatory interpretation to learn the rationale behind the design of some features.

 They started by updating our event-reporting logic.  We had to deal with a situation where secondary data points were occasionally missing from reports that were submitted from remote devices.  The Acquaint Softtech team assisted us in rewriting the data collection process to more intelligently validate input without interfering with the user experience.

They also took on the task of creating a minor but crucial feature for workflow management.  When switching between modules, it made it easier for inspectors and auditors to coordinate findings.  They had to comprehend internal guidelines that we had created over years of working with aviation clients, and they were able to put them into practice without upsetting any preexisting reasoning.

 In terms of custom development, they created a new risk-trend visualisation feature that facilitated the identification of recurrent patterns by airline safety managers.  After months of internal testing, Acquaint Softtech kept refining this feature based on input from our trainers and test users in Bangkok.

Even though we didn't monitor official KPIs, there were a number of obvious indicators of improvement.  We observed fewer internal tickets pertaining to missing input fields, and our internal testers reported that the event-reporting module felt more stable.  During audits, there was less back and forth between teams thanks to the workflow adjustment feature.  Additionally, our trainers found it simpler to demonstrate risk patterns to new clients using the visualisation tool.

 During a customer onboarding session for an operator in Southeast Asia, the most telling indication was that they commented right away on how intuitive the updated flow felt in comparison to a demo they had seen months earlier.

Our entire AI system was upgraded and our web app was redesigned in the project.

Acquaint Softtech repackaged our detection model. They introduced an improved tagging system and sorted out thousands of pictures which we had collected. They also developed a training pipeline that is able to identify dents, odd lines on the chassis and light reflections revealing previous repairs.

An incident we can recall is when we had sent them car pictures at night of a weakly lit parking area. We considered that the model would not work. Instead, the team enhanced the preprocessing pipeline to the extent that the AI was also able to extract the shape of the car even in low-light scenarios. It was a great breakthrough to us.

At the web front they redefined the entire user experience. The novel platform will allow its users to take a picture on their phone and send it to the model and receive a fast list of the potential issues. They further put in place the other concepts we had not considered like a brief explanation of how sure the AI is, so users can understand why a particular component was flagged.

We did not follow specific figures on Clutch, but we noticed some definite improvements. Indicatively, those users who experimented with the system within the company started to have more confidence in it, particularly when it indicated minor flaws they had not noticed.

There were also instances when the AI did not comprehend strange car angles and this was something that would irritate us previously. The support team told us that users are no longer calling us complaining of ambiguous results. It is an indication that the platform is getting more stable and reliable.

They handled the project on a regular basis and collaborated with us. They were sending short messages, quick calls and sharing of screens rather than long documents and this helped in making communication easier.

When we requested some adjustments be it on the way the system can identify damaged areas they normally responded within a day or two with a functioning one. They did not force us to adhere to strict rules; they corresponded to our kind of working. They were punctual and where additional time was necessary, they justified their actions.

The thing we found the most impressive is that they attempted to get the context of the technology as much as possible. They did not simply create what we ordered but instead asked questions like: How do buyers typically take pictures? What happens when a car is covered in dust? Should the AI respond differently once a photo has been taken inside a house? They were willing to address real issues and this made the end product seem more helpful in real-life scenarios.

The other unique feature was that they continued to test themselves on the platform. Some times they would send us pictures of cars they scanned, even of random cars at the side of the office, just to demonstrate how the model operated in varying circumstances.

First, they created the design and shared it with us. After we reviewed it and made a few changes, Acquaint Softtech Private Limited started the development process. After development, they worked on testing as well. We also did testing from our end and after the website went live.
