What challenge were you trying to address with ZOOZ.LK (PVT) LTD?

We were trying to address SEO issues and rebrand our logo and company. We also wanted to work on the web design to present the information effectively.

What was the scope of their involvement?

ZOOZK.LK provided SEO services and ensured we’d be the top site on the search results. They also did our logo and developed our website. They designed the individual pages and did some animation work. Aside from that, they helped us develop an inbox for client inquiries on the site.

What is the team composition?

We had two people. One of them was the main developer who handled the web design and actual work. The other one was the coordinator. She informed us about every step, took our questions back to the developer, and did a lot of outreach work. We were in direct contact with her.

How did you come to work with ZOOZ.LK (PVT) LTD?

A mutual friend recommended their services. Then, we requested to see a portfolio with their previous work, including sites and brands. Once we did our research, we spoke to them. They understood the contract, and their fees were within our range.

How much have you invested with them?

It was about $800 CAD (approximately $600 USD).

We worked together from December 2020–February 2021.

For what projects/services did your company hire ZOOZ.LK (PVT) LTD, and what were your goals?

We wanted to develop a mobile app for one of our partners in the fitness industry. ZooZ.LK came into help us with the web app and mobile app development. They have been really helpful and advised us to create the app with efficient teamwork and without delays.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I met with Zooz online when I was searching for potential partners in the IT industry last year. Luckily I met with Dilshan and since then we have been working together on meny projects.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We started with weekly meetings and phone calls with the client to build up the wireframe based on the clients needs. It was a complicated web application with many features therefore we had to be vigilant with the planning. The mobile app is a cross platformed iOS and Android. Also recently we placed it on Huawei store too. The app was built in ReAct.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I was the project manager, I had 2 full stack person from Zooz, Dilshan as the manager who oversaw and coordinated the developers and one more website developer for the backend.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our app was launched 4 months later and we had 300 downloads, thats roughly the amount of people that uses the gym. The scope of this project was to automize the service in the gym. Buy products and services via the app without using cash.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We worked in agile workflow, the client had a chance to meet with us constantly and oversee the development. It had made it easy for us too to change certain features before the implementation.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The helpfulness and proficiency of the team were top-notch. They have been always there to help us and answer the question that might arise during the development.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

i think we need a CRM software to move away from asana and help us in the coordination.
