BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the COO of Lyca Studio - a tech, data and design agency. We provide high quality web development and data analysis services including UI design and UX research. I joined Lyca Studio in 2015.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Y Interval, and what were your goals?

We needed a fresh start online with new and crisp website. Previously we were only focusing local clients. We found Y Interval online, we gave it a short. We wanted an online presence using our website to reach more clients globally.

How did you select Y Interval and what were the deciding factors?

We found Y Interval online and seeing the reviews, work and portfolio of the company - it looked very promising and we decided to go with that. Also, the founders of the company were very visible and front-facing so we didn't hesitate much.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We sent the requirements doc to the company. The very next day got on a call with of one the consultants there in Y Interval and everything he explained and guided made sense. The scope was basically to create a pages sleek website to show our company presence without making it dull and that's what exactly Y Interval did.

How many people from the Y Interval team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We interacted with 3 of the people in total for our whole project. John - the developer who coded our site. Emily - Project manager and Fahad I guess was the lead (who was amazing and handled everything smoothly)

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Needed nice website within a month with complete web content and that's exactly what we got in our budget and under the timeframe without stressing on anything.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Daily srums for 10 mints kept us in the loop and weekly updates on mainly modules and who was working on what. They added us in Slack channel and Trello and everything was super managed and easy. Before implementing anything to the site, they always sent us the demo and only after approval they did go live.

Kept our code in BitBucket for us to manager.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Super crisp and professional website within our budget range and under the tight deadline as well. My team was happy with the outcome, and how Y Interval managed everything was fantastic and great.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing that I can say or recall at the moment. There SOPs were very strong and managed.
