Developing a live streaming web app which to allow us do live music lessons

What were your goals for this project?

Build our entire live streaming platform where students can take lessons by registering into the platform and participate in the lessons based on some prepaid packages / lesson fee.

How did you select this vendor?

Xsure was recommended by a partner and we choosed them due to their experience, availability and price offer. We had to choose from 3 other offers, but none of them had the same experience and availability. In the selection process was also involved my direct manager.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

Live streaming teaching platform is a web application that provides music lessons through online interaction between music instructors and their students, an live interactive platform that elevates music education.

With this live streaming teaching platform, developed by Xsure team, students can now take lessons by registering into the platform and participate in the lessons based on some prepaid packages / lesson fee. Xsure provided a team of 6 developers and we worked directly with them. They helped us choose the best technologies and feature in order to have a very good platform.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our web app was developed in the estimated time and it was a major achievement for us. Now we go further and we want to continue our work together with Xsure team. It was a bless to have this solution ready when coronavirus almost started in our country. This saved us from closing our doors and now we can help other music teachers and students too.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management was very good and almost all deadlines were complied. When delays happened we knew about this in time without affecting the progress. Our communication was smooth. We used Skype and GitHub, but also Trello.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They're a great team with a great management. We felt that Xsure kept the lines of communication completely open.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Document as much as possible about the client domain. Would have been even easier if one of the developers played a music instrument, but we did it anyway.
