After launching we saw a marked increase in traffic and our income has trebled month over month thanks to the landing page. Clients have commented on the new design and they now have a better understanding of all the courses we offer and the additional services.

The web development was managed with agile methodologies (SCRUM). They were in touch every week giving constant feedback. When contacted a response was always received with a time estimate of the correction which was always kept to.

They gave us a professional site that's easy to update. My team had never worked with WordPress before so they took the time to teach us how to update the content ourselves.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

When we first launched there were a few minor bugs. We let them know and within hours these were sorted and everything running smoothly.

I’m the owner of Arms-Bg OOD., a retail business for tactical and hunting equipment.

I needed to create a new e-commerce platform for tactical and hunting equipment. The biggest challenge was to migrate thousands of products from the legacy system and to keep the search engine rankings.

In the last few years, Web Motion helped me a lot with the maintenance of my old e-shop which was installed by another vendor. It was running on a legacy platform which caused challenges, but they managed to find appropriate solutions. When the time came to create a new e-commerce website, Web Motion was undoubtedly my first choice.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

During the planning and development process we received valuable proposals for the project approach and the architecture. The platform was delivered on time and all products were migrated successfully. After the deployment, we measured the traffic with Google Analytics and not only we kept our positions, but the visits have even increased.

The communication with the team is very easy since they could work independently and had a problem-solving approach. I was included in the daily stand-ups only when my feedback was needed. The rest of the time I received regular reports and communicated with the team leader via emails, phone calls and zoom meetings.

Their ability to find solutions to all kinds of tech problems, their top-noch expertise and proactivity.

I continue to rely on their expertise for consultations and work with their dev team on upgrades and SEO of the platform.

I was the product owner for the project. My innovation consultancy company - Nextdoor Ltd provided project management services to the investor - a Swiss company, that wanted to build a digital platform for agriculture.

The target of the investor was creating an application for the digitalization of activities in agriculture. Our analyses of the market showed that there was no such application in Bulgaria at the time. We started searching for a capable and approachable software team to help us define the technical specification and to create remarkable web software with abilities to expand globally. Another important aspect of the selection process was the ability of the team to extend the project with prescriptive analytics and AI as needed.

To select the most appropriate software development company we approached several companies. As an intermediary between the stakeholders, for me was important to select and propose a vendor with clear processes, easy communication, and uncompromising delivery. Web Motion has earned our trust with their strongest motivation among all competitors.

With their easy to start product design process, we have quickly aligned the objectives between the stakeholders and prepared the project scope in a co-creative manner. During these product design workshops, we were able to get to know the team and to build trust before finally assigning the software development.

The scope of work includes the development of custom software - an application platform that ensures traceability of goods in the fields of agriculture. The software is accessible by the user groups via web and mobile applications. The technologies used in the project are Vue.js, JavaScript, Laravel, PHP, MySQL, Android Studio, Xcode, Amazon Web Services.

As a product owner, I communicated mostly with the scrum master, but also with the other 4 members of the project team. The roles of the team members were: Senior lead developer (scrum master), Senior software engineer. Junior full-stack developer, Quality assurance specialist, and User interface designer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Web Motion has fulfilled the assignment and has delivered the application with high quality and on time. The feedback received from the investor and the first users was entirely positive. Currently, the project is in a process of adoption, in which Web Motion is supporting us.

The project was managed with agile methodologies. I was a product owner and the Scrum master was a member of the vendor team. The vendor was always available at the Scrum meetings and was responsive to all scope change requests. The project was delivered on time and further improved during the stabilisation phase.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Web Motion is a relatively young but very innovative company. The projects they have completed so far are very impressive. In the process of developing our project we have had excellent communication throughout, they were adequately swift in their reaction to some challenges, and tasks outside the initial assignment. They were responsive in dealing with problems that appeared in the way and that were not included in the contract with the investor.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I am very pleased by our collaboration with Web Motion and would choose them again for an appropriate project. The investor is also satisfied and is relying on them for further consultancy about the project adoption. I recommend they keep their enthusiasm and high standards.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I was impressed that after each workshop Web Motion made some additional research and provided me with certain outputs. They were as helpful as co-founders, rather than service providers. In the end, I received a package of materials for my presentation, including technical specifications, competitors' research, and a clickable prototype of my product.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They organized product design workshops (in-person and online) and used Proto.io, Trello, email, Miro.com, Zoom, etc.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Web Motion was a very inventive company with effective and well-structured innovation processes. But even more impressive is their dedication and passion to provide more than expected. Using their consultative service felt like joining a start-up accelerator.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We have built trust and I am impatient to continue working with Web Motion after I raise funding. I hope they will be as responsive when developing the software, as they have been until now.
