We needed a robust dispatch management system for the healthcare industry. We were looking for a partner who could be associated with us for a long term since this project is to be developed in phases. We are done with two phases and will now be starting off with the next one soon.

We found them through a referral and considered them alongwith 2 other vendors. Because first two phases were to be done on such a high priority, we needed someone who can not only deliver quickly but also with quality.

There were 5 people in the core team. However, more people were added on the fly to ensure timely and the successful delivery. team comprised of designers, developers, project manager, tester and a business analyst.

We were able to launch exactly as per the laid out schedule which was the greatest achievement.

The project management was great. They regularly met deadlines. In case there were any delays, they were informed in advance with valid reasons. We communicated through their in-house project management tool and skype.

We had direct access to the entire team, even the QAs, which made it easier to communicate all through the project lifecycle.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

While the quality was great, we have suggested them to be little flexible with the scope at times, as it is not always possible to document everything in one go. They have taken the feedback very positively and are already working on it internally.

I’m not sure exactly how many people are working on the project because we hire them for a fixed-price rather than paying per developer. They move people in and out based on project needs. However, I met some of the team in person when I was visiting Jaipur recently.

I found them on Upwork. I wanted to work with another Indian company and they seemed like a good fit based on our needs.

We began working with them in late 2011, and our engagement is ongoing.

Everything in our business happens online, so if our website is down, our whole company is too. They understand that and work to make sure everything is running smoothly. If there's ever a problem, they're quick to address it.

We communicate mostly via email since our internal team all works remotely as well. The communication is fluid and our relationship is well-established at this point. 

They’re good at assigned the right people to the project based on what tasks need to be completed. For example, one of our main points of contact is a developer, our internal team communicates with him, but he doesn’t speak English. If there is a situation that requires more third-party communication, they’ll bring on someone else who is fluent in English.

They’re reliable and consistent.

No, we’re happy with their work. 

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

It can be challenging to manage an offshore relationship. You have to be clear with expectations and goals to have a successful engagement. This is true regardless of what offshore vendor you hire.

We’ve gotten good feedback from visitors. The website is running very smoothly and the navigation is easy. Previously, it was quite cumbersome for our visitors to utilize the site.

They’re right on. The moment I shoot them an email about a problem, bug, or another issue, they’re prompt in answering. They let me know if they’re away or if there’s an upcoming holiday at least seven days prior, and they provide me a backup plan. I’m very satisfied with the project management.

They listened carefully to my requirements and gave me everything in writing, including the timeline for when everything would be done. In addition, they gave me daily updates for the work. If something wasn’t done, they gave me a reason for it.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think so. Once the document was set, they took care of the requirements. If I asked them for something else after that, that would’ve been a different thing. There wasn’t a single problem with W3care Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

I’d highly recommend them. They follow global standards, act very professionally, and work systematically.

W3Care very fast and efficiently added captcha to all of the forms on our website. They implemented the big banner which replaced multiple widgets with latest articles on our homepage.

W3Care team is quite big, but I usually work with 2-3 people. They have a smaller team dedicated specifically for ExpressionEngine, which is quite fast and efficient.

We stopped receiving multiple spam comments, which was a great relief for us and our users. The homepage looks much user-friendly now as well.

I was assigned one expert to work with me. Abhi solved all of the tasks very expertly, she communicated with me on a daily basis via skype.
