I’m the CEO of bant.io, a marketing services company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Virtual Sales Limited?
We needed help with appointment setting and sales outsourcing.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Virtual Sales helps us set appointments over the phone and provides us with remote sales development work, acting as an outsourced sales development representative (SDR). Initially, we provided them with information to create scripts, which included information about our company, our targeting criteria, our offer for the market, and details on how to handle objections and FAQs.
What is the team composition?
Andy (Owner) is our main point of contact, and we’ve also worked with two other people from Virtual Sales.
How did you come to work with Virtual Sales Limited?
We have a unique relationship with Virtual Sales. They’ve been a client of ours, and we’re a client of theirs. Additionally, we’ve worked in a partnership capacity, in which both of us work for the same clients and coordinate our services. When I joined the company, we already had a partnership with Virtual Sales, so I don’t know how we originally found them.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent between $25,000–$50,000 across our different projects.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together around 2017, and our engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our main KPI is the number of appointments Virtual Sales actually sets, both for our clients and for us. Virtual Sales has always met our expectations regarding this KPI.
How did Virtual Sales Limited perform from a project management standpoint?
Virtual Sales has met our deadlines and stayed on budget. Moreover, their communication is great; Andy and his team are very responsive, collaborative, flexible, and great communicators. We communicate mainly via email, although we use the phone sometimes.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Having worked with similar companies in the past, I can say that Virtual Sales has well-established processes; they know what they’re doing. They’ve been doing their work for a long time, so they have best practices worked out, as well as the right structure to be able to deliver results.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s nothing Virtual Sales could improve on.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Come prepared with a thorough understanding of your business and ensure that you have all the information you need to provide them so that they can set you up for success. Additionally, have realistic expectations for this kind of service. If you hire an internal salesperson, you don’t expect hundreds of leads per month, so don’t expect it from an outsourced agency. The fact that they’re good at their work doesn’t mean they can work magic.

We used the outreach services of Virtual Sales Limited to book qualified meetings with decision makers.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I had engaged with Virtual Sales Limited at previous organizations, always with success.
Describe the project in detail and walk through their service package, including any calling tools used.
VSL acted as our internal Business Development Representative, with a phone number and email box on our systems, offering us a dedicated caller that was well-versed in our industry.
Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?
I worked primarily with Fiona S., the Account Manager. She provided weekly updates on calling activity and results. All details of weekly conversations were emailed in Microsoft Excel along with an overview report on metrics and progress.
We were immediately emailed details of all appointments booked, with very concise details from the call, providing an overview to prepare the SDR for the upcoming meeting that was booked.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the service?
We had an internal BDR to measure against, and VSL consistently provided better performance.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Fiona kept us in the loop at all times. When she knew she was going to be away, she made arrangements so that we were never without help.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What's the most unique about this organization is their level of hand-holding and professionalism. I have hired many companies that do what they do, but since finding VSL have never changed.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
100% no. They are incredibly flexible and willing to do anything differently if better results could be provided. "Don't fix it if it isn't broken" - processes simply work with VSL.
