I'm the president of Innotech, a recently started edtech company. We have developers and are starting an app we'll sell during the year. We haven't begun our commercial process because the app is in the last phases of development.

What challenge were you trying to address with Vextar?

We needed help with mobile app design and development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Vextar is developing and designing a mobile app for academic management in schools and universities. The app will be available on iOS and Android, allowing students and parents to pay for school services. The team has used Figma for the design process. Vextar has also implemented a web tool backend that enables the mobile app to function.

Vextar is currently testing the app and its payment functionalities, concretely the connections between our accounts and the payment management company that handles the transactions.

We aim for local schools to use our app instead of acquiring solutions from other parts of the world.

What is the team composition?

We've worked with 4–5 developers from Vextar, including one of the owners and a developer who was the face of the development team.

How did you come to work with Vextar?

We were selected for a technology program in Paraguay and started looking for a development partner. Vextar was referred to us, and we chose them because they are known among clients in the sector and have experience working with startups. We know one of the members of Vextar because we are located in a small region.

We've spent $25,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June 2024, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We're pleased with Vextar's work. The team has delivered outstanding results and met my expectations. UX/UI is essential nowadays, and we've invested a lot into it because that could trigger other aspects of the app to fail, like a domino effect. Additionally, I'm a perfectionist, and I've been impressed with the app's design.

Vextar has also done an excellent job at testing the app, and we're also seeing great results. Overall, we're delighted with Vextar's work.

How did Vextar perform from a project management standpoint?

Vextar has been empathetic with us. Despite funding issues, the team has delivered on time and within budget and hasn't delayed development.

We communicate via Google Meet and WhatsApp. The communication we have is excellent. Vextar is always available, and we have a close relationship with the team.

The lead developer. They were a fantastic partner. The owner was also kind to us throughout the process.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Vextar has shown interest in our project and believes in our success.

I can't think of anything Vextar can improve on.

Having a clear idea of your project is vital before engaging with Vextar. We went through many points at the beginning of our engagement, which seemed minor, but we needed to walk through them and align the objectives.

MasFazzil is a platform designed to optimize payments and financial management. The project involves developing a web and mobile application with an intuitive and secure interface, allowing users to perform transactions efficiently.

One of the key deliverables is the integration with financial institutions, including connections with payment gateways, banks, and external systems, ensuring interoperability and regulatory compliance. Security protocols will also be implemented to protect user data and transactions.

Another essential component is the creation of an admin dashboard, providing real-time metrics, financial reports, and transaction analysis tools. This will enable administrators to manage operations effectively and make strategic decisions.

Vextar has developed and designed our Android and iOS mobile apps. Initially, we met to define the app's requirements, design, and project scope. The team then created the UX/UI using Figma and ensured cross-platform compatibility using Flutter. The app allows users to book training sessions with trainers, which can be in person or online through our app.

We're about to launch the app, and Vextar also offers maintenance and support.

Vextar's work quality is outstanding, and the app is user-friendly and fast, which we wanted. The team has exceeded our expectations. We're delighted with the results.

How did Vextar perform from a project management standpoint?

Vextar delivers on time, communicates well, and stays within budget. We have biweekly sprints, and they're always available and responsive. I have no complaints.

We communicate mainly using emails and phone calls. It's easier and faster for us.
