Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We had a fantastic experience working with Venrup. At the start of the project, Venrup worked with our team to identify all of the changes we wanted to make to the design of the website.

They designed multiple mock-ups and were experts at bringing their own creative insights and collaborating with our team to ensure that the final product matched our early vision. In addition to revising our website design, they worked to increase the efficiency of our web pages and improve the overall user experience.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Throughout the design and development process, Venrup was incredibly responsive and available to meet with our team when needed. The entire Venrup team was friendly, communicative and easy to work with.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The Venrup team was very communicative and very clear in helping translate technical details and changes they were making to our non-technical team. They were confident solving challenges/bugs as they arose.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The project took slightly longer than anticipated but Venrup was fantastic to work with, willing to do multiple revisions, and committed to making sure that there were no bugs or design flaws in the final product.

A colleague of mine recommended Venrup. I had an initial conversation with the Founders and found the team to be the right fit. I was looking for cost-effective and reliable service partners.

The work involved doing the UI.UX of the app from scratch. The team developed wireframes followed by high-fidelity prototypes. I liked Venrup’s minimalist design style that was also very functional.

The team then moved on to the development of the app. They set clear timelines and were able to deliver on them throughout the development cycles.

There were 3 people working on the product including a project manager, a UI.UX designer and mobile app developer.

The team took full ownership of the app and were result driven. They set clear timelines, and the deliverables were on point. The developers went the extra mile to create a scalable, test-driven app and translated the UI.UX perfectly.

I was really impressed with the team, their expertise and project management skills. Everything was very transparent.

Venrup did the project management on their own and did a really good job at it. I provided high level details and the team translated those into actionable tasks with little to no oversight on my part. Communication was very smooth and they were very responsive.

They used Slack to manage all communication and Clickup for project management.

A great team to work with in all aspects. I was very comfortable and they ensured that a functional product was delivered to me. Overall I am very impressed and can highly recommend them to anyone.

Working through the recommendation of a partner we found Venrup. We need a broad set of technical skills coupled with a responsive team familiar and comfortable with Agile development.

The project was a pilot focused on building a repeatable application framework. We used react and node, as well as Redshift for state storage. We had 12 weeks of condensed design, build, and deploy.

There were 4 core team members, and on our side we had an architect, product owner (me), and a UI/UX expert. The vendor team was comprised of front and back end developers.

The team was easy to work with, responsive, diligent, and available. We completed the project within the allotted scope of time, and we even had capacity to layer in a few additional features.

Technical project management was the key to success. No one had to translate the business requirements into technical architecture components, or make sure that the fundamental requirements (core APIs, pleasing front end) were built correctly.

Mistakes were far and few between, and if there were bugs, they were resolved quickly.

I required a new website, which reflected the quality of my studio and work and to attract customers. I wanted it to be short and with clear information, appealing in looks and reflecting the nature of my business as I am not just a normal Personal Trainer but wanted my USP: "Love your curves and fitness empowerment for women" to be incorporated. It also needed to be connected to an existing app which is an instant booking/payment app as well as the studio's admin app.

I looked up vendors on Upwork. The reason I decided for Venrup was that they were very quick in responding to me. My impression was that they got very quickly what I was looking for and made a fair price.

Since my website is in German and English I had provided them with the content I needed to have on there as well as pictures. From here we discussed the stages they were creating. Every couple of days they would send me the first impression and I could approve every stage of it.

We would select the pictures carefully - they sometimes had a different opinion to me and since they are the professionals I was going with their suggestion most of the times. They also made me shorten my content so that every section looked clean and neat.

through this new design of my website I was able to position my business much better on google, which helped my revenue a lot.

I was able to contact them and get a response in a very efficient way. They would also contact me with any kind of progress and I never needed to remind them. I don't know much about developing a website and they always explained everything to me in a very clear and logical way.

I have had very bad experience with other companies trying to develop my website so for sure I was a little sceptical this time round. I didn't need to be. It was extremely professional, my website was up and running in no time and they took me through the whole process of where to host my site, how to amend content myself.

In fact even if I have a question now they still answer and make sure everything is ok. So this is why I feel very happy having chosen Venrup.

After assessing the projects they have worked on our having an initial conversation with them we found them to be a great fit.

We gave the VENRUP team a brief on what our product is and kind of customers we will be working with. We also discussed the kind of design aesthetic and UI we were looking for. Based on these discussions the VENRUP team were able to develop initial mockups of our product and we were able to have a lot of constructive conversation around these designs on the needs/requirements of our users and what constitutes a good design flow. After these conversations, the VENRUP team took our feedback and were able to turn the mockups into functioning proptypes.

I’m the co-founder of a small startup. We’re working on developing a software product and preparing for its initial release.

What challenge were you trying to address with VENRUP?

We needed help with custom software development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We initially needed web design work. This was a fixed-price project that took 2-3 weeks. The deliverable was a UI/UX design and wireframes for the website.

Now, they're working on a Python-based machine learning backend development project. The key feature is machine learning for data. We get a lot of customer files for data processing. There are different Python libraries that we use to do data transformation. There are also some machine learning libraries that we use for detecting characteristics of data. It’s a very data-intensive process.

For our current project, they provided us with a full-time Python developer. That developer is working remotely with our team here in the U.S. This project isn't fixed-price, as we need a developer to augment our team for a few months. This engagement is still ongoing.

What is the team composition?

Currently, there’s one project manager as well as a single developer. We manage the developer from our side as well. For the UI/UX project, there was a designer I primarily worked with plus a project manager.

How did you come to work with VENRUP?

I found them through my network. I knew the founder because I’m located in Boston and he went to Brown University. We engaged them cautiously by starting with a small project. Now we’re expanding scope since things are progressing well.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We knew what type of resource we needed. We looked to outsource the position mainly to cut costs. We didn’t want to compromise on the quality of the resource, though. We’ve been very satisfied with the quality of their developer, the developer's work ethic, and the rates they charge for their services.

How did VENRUP perform from a project management standpoint?

I touch base with the project manager every week or so to make sure their developer is working as expected. The interactions with them have been really good. They stay in touch and make sure we’re happy with the quality of the work. We haven't used them for a typical project management role. They deliver on time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They make sure they deliver value to us. I was pleasantly surprised that they went above and beyond to make sure that we get all the resumes on time. We conducted interviews to find the best resource. They were very cooperative in that whole process. They've made extra effort to make sure that we’re satisfied and getting the service we need.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It’s a small team. They have a narrow skillset. They have really strong Python, UI/UX, and frontend development resources. However, they don't offer some other technical skills we were looking for like Java. We appreciated the honesty from them on that.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

We started with a small project to test the waters with them. That’s how we started growing our relationship with them. I think that’s the advice I’d give to somebody else as well. The team is really good. They have strong expertise but in a narrow technical skillset.
