I’m the owner of RKM Logistics, a transportation and logistics company.

What challenge were you trying to address with UVTech Global?

RKM Logistics was capturing data pertaining to trips, clients, fleet, and vendors in Excel spreadsheets. As the company grew, Excel couldn’t manage the data, so we decided to implement a cloud-based ERP solution.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We were working with some major clients, and our company was growing rapidly. We also had partnered with several market vendors who provided us with trucks regularly. So, to keep accurate and proper records of trips we undertake daily, manage customer expectations, and keep our vendors happy, we decided to implement an online solution.

UVTech Global developed a cloud-based ERP solution with the following features:

• Operations data
• Fleet management, including service, regulatory aspects, and expenses
• HR management, including attendance, payroll, and advance payments
• Vendor payments
• Accurate and timely data for accounting and audit
• Billing and receipts

We worked with three teammates from UVTech Global.

We found UVTech Global through an online search and referral. We chose them over other options because of their good industry reputation and low cost.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $7,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project lasted from November 2020–February 2021. Although the project ended in February 2021, UVTech Global continues to host the ERP, provide 24/7 support, and undertake enhancements as per business requirements.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

RKM Logistics has grown since 2020, and the ERP has been the backbone behind this growth. All objectives have been fulfilled, and we continue to work with UVTech Global for long-term growth. The company’s revenue is three times what it was in 2020, the fleet size has increased by 4–5 times, and the staff has increased proportionately.

Moreover, the customized cloud-based ERP allows trained staff to operate from different locations and capture every aspect of the business, including:

1. Operations data (trip allocation, truck placement, documentation, loading, tracking movement, unloading, proof of delivery documentation, billing, etc.)
2. Proper records of trucks hired from outside, payments to vendors, taxation, etc.
3. All HR-related functions
4. Timely billing and tracking payments

How did UVTech Global perform from a project management standpoint?

UVTech Global delivered the project as per mutually agreed timelines. The team has always been responsive to our needs. We communicated via video conferences, personal meetings, emails, and WhatsApp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

• The ERP was required to capture every detail about the operatinal data to include types of trips, from different branches for all customers from the allocation till billing. As the company operates with the best in the business customers which use technology in their bsunesses, it was extremely critical to keep pace with their expectations and business needs.
• Sadashiv Logistics also has a large number of vendors which provided logistics services. The aggregation of logistics neeed all details to be captured for accounting, payments etc.
• Delivery of cargo, proof of delivery documentation, fulfilling the critical needs of accurate and timely deliveries for eventual billing the customers for receiving timely payment.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Sadashiv Logistics was able to capture complete data about operations, customers and vendors by different teams operating at different locations. The live data has always helped the company in providing quality service to the clients.
The company could grow rapidly and helped in getting onboared by other customers. Timely and accurate payments to multiple vendors ensures good market reputation. The ERP has been a boon which is critical  for all business facets. It is efficient, effeice and being improved as per available technology and business needs.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

The project was delivered according to the agreed terms and conditions. After sharing business needs, UVTech came up with a solution and discussed the same at length. The ERP was delivered on time. Certain changes required on implementation were attended to urgently. Thereafter, the ERP was improved a few times as per business needs. UVTech's response has been prompt, and the cost has been reasonable. The company addressed routine issues promptly.

What was the scope of their involvement?

UVTech Global has implemented ERPNext's buying and selling modules. For the buying module, they've worked on purchase orders, purchase receipts, purchase invoices, supplier payments, and stock inwards. For the selling module, they've worked on quotations, sales orders, sales invoices, sales returns, credit notes, and stock outward reports.

We started working together in January 2025, and the engagement is still ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

UVTech Global’s work has improved my daily life and reduced my efforts. I used to use Tally and Excel files to manage my orders, deliveries, and stock. Now, everything is in ERPNext, and I can use it online from my mobile. I can quickly add, edit, or see reports, whereas I previously had to check on my office computer. The purchase and sales analysis reports have been the most useful since implementing ERPNext.
