In 2015, we launched RxValet with the mission of providing affordable prescription medications to consumers across the United States. As we began our journey, we needed a reliable and experienced IT development partner to build a scalable digital platform that would support our business model and allow users to easily access low-cost medications online.

After evaluating several vendors, we partnered with Universal Stream Solution to handle the end-to-end technical development of our platform. Their scope of work covered everything from ideation to deployment, including:

• Designing and developing a fully functional eCommerce website tailored for the online pharmacy market.
• Building mobile applications (iOS and Android) to ensure users could access our services on the go.
• Creating a custom backend admin panel for order and user management, analytics, and reporting.
• Setting up and maintaining our cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, security, and high availability.
• Supporting ongoing enhancements, third-party integrations, and performance optimizations.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The collaboration with Universal Stream Solution led to several measurable outcomes. We successfully launched a HIPAA-compliant eCommerce platform and mobile apps that now serve thousands of users across the U.S. Within the first few years, we saw a 40% increase in customer sign-ups and a 60% to 80% growth in monthly prescription orders.

Platform uptime consistently exceeded 99%, and page load times improved significantly post-launch. Their scalable infrastructure and continuous support enabled us to expand rapidly while maintaining system performance and data security.

They are using agile methodologies, with clear planning, regular progress updates, and transparent communication. Tasks were tracked efficiently through JIRA PMS, and milestones were consistently met on time.

Their team was highly responsive to our needs—whether it was a last-minute change, or urgent bug fix, they adapted quickly without compromising quality. We always felt heard and supported. Their proactive approach and attention to detail ensured a smooth development process and successful delivery of every phase of the project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their ability to combine technical excellence with genuine business understanding. The best thing is that they treated our project like their own. That level of ownership and dedication is rare, and that’s what makes them truly unique.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Universal Stream Solution could have done differently?

One minor area for improvement would be the English communication skills of some junior team members. On a few occasions, particularly when the project manager was out of the office, there were slight communication gaps.

However, this was rare and never caused any major issues. The experienced project manager was almost always available and ensured smooth, clear communication throughout the project. 

Overall, the team's responsiveness and commitment more than made up for these occasional instances.
