Before: AE had fragmented messaging across hives and inconsistent brand expression.
After: With Umbau’s input, AE developed a unified brand voice and sharper positioning (e.g. “Partner in Digital Excellence”) used consistently in decks, event materials, and campaigns.
Impact: Improved recognition and clarity across internal teams and external audiences.
 
2. Professionalised keynotes & sales materials
AE’s sales decks and executive presentations were redesigned with Umbau’s help improving storytelling, visual consistency, and confidence during pitches.
Impact: Noted improvement in perception by stakeholders and clients; several account leads reported more engagement in meetings and faster buy-in due to clearer communication.

Their strength lies in translating complex or fragmented input into clear, compelling narratives, all while staying visually sharp and on-brand. What’s unique is their proactive mindset: they challenge ideas, offer better alternatives, and elevate the quality of the end result without needing lengthy briefings. Their work feels like a true extension of the team, which is both efficient and empowering.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Umbau could have done differently?

Yes, while Umbau consistently delivered strong work and added strategic value, one area for improvement could be scaling their involvement more efficiently when multiple projects run in parallel. At peak moments (e.g. during overlapping content deliveries), it occasionally became challenging to balance priorities or manage expectations around turnaround times. A more structured intake process or clearer project scoping upfront could help avoid late-stage pressure. Additionally, providing more transparency on planning or workload could make it easier for AE to align timelines internally. That said, their flexibility and responsiveness often made up for these occasional bottlenecks.
