There was an idea to develop a marketplace app with some special features.

What were your goals for this project?

The project is an e-commerce mobile application that offers advanced product listing based on user's likes and interests, offers a modern-view interface to navigate through different categories with advanced search, attractive visuals, and an easy payment process. The main thing for us was to create an app with the possibility to see reviews about one product but from different websites and apps. We created user profiles as well to help customers track their orders, contact support, change order and submit reviews on products and we created document verification because we wanted to be the first 100% safe e-commerce app.

While searching online, we came across UAPP company, the criteria were pretty simple, they have the zeal to know what we have in mind in terms of developing our proposed concept. They developed our iOS and Android apps with interfaces for both users and sellers, including an admin console.

What was the team composition?

There was a huge team that consisted of one project manager, two back and one front developers, two mobile app developers, one QA, two marketing specialists, three designers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

This project was a success functionally and commercially. We are very satisfied with it! The output was amazing and the result was up to the mark. We are delighted by the effort their team made. We achieved a huge client base and converted all existing clients on social media to the app.

It was seamless and autonomous, UAPP team was very flexible and easy to communicate with. They were always available and open to all alterations and amendments where possible.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The team is technically sound and they understood our concepts completely. We are impressed with the designs. They are experts on the startup culture, and they understand the complexity and nature of our business and they treated the business as one of their own.

Everything was fine. Definitely would recommend others to hire UAPP for their projects.

We hired them for software development services, we realized that we needed to enrich our team with additional expertise. The project scope was to develop a platform where customers can find developers for their digital projects and sales managers can find a development team for their customers. We had a couple of meetings and getting to know each other, all the team met our needs, despite having different approaches to the project. We use industry-standard communication tools (email, Slack, Jira) and SCRUM/Kanban approach to development. UAPP was able to support us in the way that the urgency and time constraints required: just get the job done and support fast with whatever's needed.

The team of UAPP impressed us with a highly personalized approach to our project and lots of interesting suggestions, as well as the ability to handle almost all aspects of the projects, including design and project management. They definitely stand out over other outsourced development companies, especially with the direct involvement of their founder, who paid attention to every single detail and was available for solving any problems that came up.

We had enough of the founder's attention to control each aspect. We hope they can still sustain this commitment to clients' needs and to quality delivery today. UAPP provides a full range of services related to our needs (business analysis, software development, design, digital marketing and SEO, testing). All processes in the company are set well.

We can't name any serious flaws in our cooperation.

We received several reviews from our customers regarding usability. Analytic shows an increase in traffic and that visitors stay longer on the site.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Communication was clear and effective, project manager arranged planned meetings. Deadlines have not been violated, and we were informed about the progress of the project on a regular basis.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Three things we liked the most about the vendor: ideas, organization, quality. We are satisfied with the result of our cooperation.

The search for vendor started with freelance platforms (Upwork, Twago). Then we received a couple of recommendations. Finally, our vendor range was narrowed up to 3 vendors. After communication and discussion of business flow, we’ve chosen UAPP company.

The project scope was to develop a marketplace for specific items with a feature to register different watch stores, which afterwards must be included in the item search. Item related features: specification, price statistics (by different parameters).

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project is currently ongoing, the first results have been shown on semimonthly demos, which correspond the business requirements.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was discussed at the initiation stage, which was agreed considering our working hours and schedule (demo every 2 weeks, weekly status update reports, call follow-ups after planned business requirements discussions). All communication was through PM. There are no issues related to communication.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Of course, I would like it ready in faster terms, but after discussing the required features and estimate we understand that this project development requires more time in order to get the high-quality product in the end.
