We needed a team to assist with mobile app development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They built three separate mobile apps for iOS and Android that are integrated with one another. Their team used HTML. 

The first is for hotel chains, who put out services they want to advertise to people. There’s one for vendors, who post bills onto an app for consumers and an associate host app, like Lyft, and Uber. The final app is a marketplace for consumers where vendors post deals. 

What is the team composition?

The team size changed throughout the course of the engagement, depending on if we needed ad-hoc or not. It ranged from 4-12 people. Our main points of contact were the project manager, Ashok (Enterprise CRM), and Abhishek (Product Engineer).

They were recommended by a couple of different people who had worked with them in the past.

We spent around $300,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together around January 2017, and it is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

There were several suggestions they made that were very helpful. They’ve done nothing but benefit us and help us move forward and excel in our goals.

How did Trigma Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re great. Communication is very good– we have daily calls. They’re very responsive and easy to understand. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their communication skills are impressive. We’ve not had any miscommunications, unlike our experience with prior offshore service providers. They have flown here to be part of meetings several times. I don’t think most companies would dedicate themselves to their clients the way Trigma does.

No.

Be open and tell them everything. They’ll work hard to come up with solutions for you.

The workflow was such that Trigma built up an application & we worked on hosting the solution on Cloud. After effective testing on Cloud for continuous good period. The app was migrated on Cloud and DR was built around it again on Cloud

Trigma has been in the market for long. They have good resources and a thorough internal workflow system. Through which the work or projects are very highly scrutinised as far their quality and delivery on time is concerned.

Are there any areas for improvement?

The areas of improvement I would suggest would be to expand to different territories and work for large scale projects which I know they can deliver. I am sure they would be thinking on these lines.

We just needed the platform to work, and Trigma delivered. A student can create an account, pay, and do a live lesson all in one place. The team also did great design work on the frontend. We received positive feedback from users and stakeholders; they said it looked great and worked.
