I’m the manager of Dura Automotive’s testing lab.

What challenge were you trying to address with Topographix Solutions?

We needed someone to provide us with custom coding and software development.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Topographix Solutions helped us develop a software code for gear testing, specifically for the NI hardware. I initially provided them with a document of our requirements, including motion controls and several mechanical aspects.

What is the team composition?

We mainly worked with one programmer.

How did you come to work with Topographix Solutions?

After experiencing some difficulties with our oil supplier, Rohan (Owner) helped me come up with the basic requirements and provided me with a solution.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around 800,000 INR (approximately $10,600 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from September–November 2017.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The quality of the code was great so I’m very happy with the final product that they delivered.

How did Topographix Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

I can say that they met their deadlines 85% at a time. We typically communicated through phone and email, but we also had face-to-face meetings whenever we needed them to troubleshoot any issues.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I like that they were able to provide me with high-quality support when I was experiencing a development crisis.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could maybe have a project manager for the development process to oversee everything.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would recommend Topographix Solutions to anyone looking for help, but I would also advise them on having their own project manager to lead the partnership.
