I’m the CEO of an application business for retail.

We needed technical support.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Toplev Development coded both sides of our Android and iOS platforms. Their team built a full API platform and a website.

What is the team composition?

I worked with Alexander (CEO) directly. He outsourced tasks to different employees throughout development.

How did you come to work with Toplev Development?

I found Toplev Development on a freelancer’s platform. After reviewing 20 different coders, the decision came down to communication. Alexander and I aligned on the project’s vision and communicated easily. Now, he’s a partner who helps to continue our growth.

How much have you invested with them?

We invested less than $100,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started the collaboration in February 2018 and their team completed the beta version in August 2018 but there’s always ongoing business.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Alexander his services at a good price. Based on his allocation of time to pick up any slack when needed, the project should cost double what it did. He took the initiative to get the job done. Alexander understands the vision and our direction, so he’s able to fill in any pieces and bring results. We also collaborate well, which saves time. What he accomplished in a short period of time would’ve taken anyone else four years.

How did Toplev Development perform from a project management standpoint?

They have great communication. We trust Alexander with this project fully as well as with any NDAs or disclosure agreements that we come across.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Alexander has a great network that he uses to outsource projects as well as puts me in contact with. Their network and ability to talk to other companies are true assets. On top of that, they’re well organized. Alexander’s self-sufficient, so he’s been a blessing to work with so far.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could extend the timeframe to under-promise rather than to overpromise and underdeliver. That comes down to the coders and Alexander picks up the slack.
