Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the Lead International Design and Digital Strategy at a Branding and Digital Consultancy. We are a part of a group of creative agencies and creative schools -- I also take care of the technical support in terms of web for the group.

For what projects/services did your company hire Thor Solutions?

Our server hosted many websites -- ours and our clients, but lacked security, upkeep, order or logic.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I have known the founder for a while and got in touch initially for help solving minor but frequent breakdowns with our websites (hacks, downtime, etc). he repeatedly resolved our problems... but we realized we needed regular support and a better-managed server. He had proven himself/his team via clearing previous hacks, so we chose Thor.

Thor solutions cleaned up our entire server based on a server structure we gave them, now take regular backups, run a monthly security advisory and provide us with regular documentation of the server and the status of the 30+ hosted websites.

I worked directly with the founder.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our server is clean, organized, secure, and clear. We know where our websites are at, we know they are updated as necessary and we are warned of any vulnerabilities. We have almost no downtime.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very smooth: the team is available and agile and solves problems fairly quickly.

I needed a modern, good looking website that would work on phones as well as computers, and would provide links to all of my books and audiobooks on all locations across the internet.

Thor Solutions provided me with many possible templates for websites, and explained to me the pros and cons of each one. They listened to my descriptions of my work and what I required, and together we arrived at the best option.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I've had many reviews and feedback from readers telling me that they'd come to my work through the website, which is a big increase from before.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Partly because this was a small project, workflow was seamless. I was most impressed with how quickly I got responses to any queries or issues I had -- usually within minutes.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Thor Solutions knows their areas of expertise and related technologies intimately. They're easy to work with because you can always get in touch with them at a moment's notice, and they'll drop everything to solve your problem. Added to that, they're friendly and affordable.
