We hired Terzettoo to turn our concept into a fully functional, real-time digital reservation system that enhances communication and efficiency for restaurants and their guests.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Terzettoo handled the end-to-end design and development of the QuickCheckin digital waitlist and reservation platform. Their scope covered frontend, backend, integration, and deployment.

We hired Terzettoo to design and develop QuickCheckin, a real-time digital waitlist and reservation platform for restaurants. The goal was to build a modern, full-stack web application with a React.js (TypeScript) frontend and a Node.js + Express + MongoDB backend. Specifically, we wanted them to:

• Implement real-time waitlist and reservation updates for restaurant staff using Server-Sent Events (SSE).
• Develop a smooth, intuitive user experience for both customers (self check-in kiosk) and restaurant admins (dashboard management).
• Integrate Twilio SMS for notifications and two-way text responses (confirmations and cancellations).
• Ensure the platform was secure, scalable, and reliable, with proper validation, authentication, and error handling.

Frontend Development

Terzettoo built the complete React.js (TypeScript) frontend for QuickCheckin, creating a fast, responsive, and intuitive interface. They implemented all key modules — the Customer Kiosk, Restaurant Admin Dashboard, and Super Admin Panel — using Tailwind CSS, React Router, and React Hook Form. The frontend delivered a smooth real-time experience powered by Server-Sent Events (SSE) and maintained clean, reusable code structures throughout.

Backend Development

They developed the backend using Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB with Mongoose for data modeling. The backend handled all business logic, real-time updates through SSE, and Twilio SMS integration for two-way messaging between restaurants and guests. It included centralized error handling, validation, and secure API endpoints, ensuring the platform was scalable and reliable.

Architecture & Infrastructure

Terzettoo designed a well-organized, modular architecture for both frontend and backend, following best practices for scalability and maintainability. They set up the project structure, configuration management, and database connections, along with foundational testing scaffolds using Jest. The result was a clean, production-ready architecture that made ongoing development and deployment straightforward.

We gathered customer feedback informally through direct conversations and on-site observations during pilot testing. Restaurant managers and staff shared feedback based on their daily use of the platform, and we also spoke directly with guests who used the self check-in kiosk. This hands-on approach allowed us to capture authentic, experience-based insights about usability, speed, and overall satisfaction without relying on third-party survey tools.
