BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

Lazada is an E-commere marketplace. I'm working as Product Head at Lazada. I look after the product's general business, performance, scalability, and adoption amongst our target audience.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire KodeGlobe Technologies, and what were your goals?

We hired KodeGlobe Technologies to increase the retention & conversion on our website and mobile apps. We were looking for some design changes for our apps and website which will in turn increase our retention. It is technically referred to as Conversion Rate Optimization(CRO).

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were looking for many vendors/companies online and through referrals. KodeGlobe Technologies was referred to us through a well-known Food & Beverage brand in India. We had multiple deliberations with Kodeglobe. Our tech guys interacted with their consultants and designers to make sure they understood our current challenges and goals for this project.

Over these deliberations, KodeGlobe provided insightful consultation on ways through which we can increase our retention and conversion. Once we understood their process and the solutions they can give, it was very easy for us to decide that they are the right partners indeed.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

After many deliberations with Kodeglobe, we gave them a go-ahead and signed the service agreement. They provided us with all details to move ahead. It was really a plus point as through their detailed documentation, we were able to see all the upcoming development. We were allocated a dedicated team of 10-12 people, from which our point of contact was the account manager Vineet, who provided us with all updates. With their constant updates and their willingness to gather our feedback at every step of the project, the entire development process from start to delivery was very smooth.

As described above we had a dedicated team of 10-12 individuals assigned to our project.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have not launched the new website and mobile applications as of now. We will probably launch them around August, so it's a little difficult to comment on the measurable outcomes. But, as a general feedback the process was way beyong our expectations and the deliverables were very much as per our thoughts.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

They used Notion as their project management tool through which we were always connected with the team.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their style of communication and empathy towards our requirements were amazing!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

It'd be great if they can start giving resources for hire on a contract basis. A lot of agencies allow full-time hiring of their resources but unfortunately, KodeGlobe didn't offer it. At least, not until we were involved.
