Techware Hut provided a complete design and development of our new website along production and storyboard of a 2D animated video that simply explains our solution and offering.  They will be providing support and maintenance for one year of our website along with SEO.

Captured the look and feel of what we were trying to accomplish.  Timeline and budget was great and they were very accommodating with requests and quickly adapted to changes requested.  2D animated video was well done and they captured everything in the storyboard.

From the initial design submission, the Techware Hut team was responsive to making changes that resulted in a simple, clean website that clearly communicated the purpose of the site.

I worked with three different people from Techware Hut on this project. Each team member was responsive and able to communicate changes throughout the project, which resulted in a beautiful website.

This was the first time I had a website built for my copywriting business. Techware Hut's ability to adjust and deliver was impressive.

The team at Techware Hut handled the project very well and demonstrated patience while educating me on the entire process. I don't think there was anything more I could have asked for!

We hired Techware to help us design the software we needed for scheduling and admin services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Techware has helped us develop a piece of software that helps us keep track of our upcoming jobs and work orders. The team has built the software based on our specific needs. 

Service technicians use the tracking system for their projects. They take note of the project, the customer’s name, and the equipment pieces used. The system has a feature where users can upload pictures to the database, which everyone can access Going forward, Techware will also be updating our website’s design. 

What is the team composition?

I mainly work with their owner; we communicate virtually and in person. 

How did you come to work with Techware Hut?

A co-worker of mine found Techware, though I’m not sure how.

How much have you invested with them?

I’ve spent around $25,000 CAD (approximately $18,600 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our success metrics focus on whether or not efficiency has increased and what the general user feedback is within our company. We haven’t fully implemented the product, so we don’t have anything to measure yet.

Techware is highly responsive and on the ball when it comes to project management.

They’re truly willing to work with us. My main contact person is highly professional, and I like that about him.

No, there aren’t any. I’m happy with their services.

Keep in contact with their owner, and he’ll take care of everything from there.

What challenge were you trying to address with Techware Hut?

We were looking to develop a custom software solution for niche financial markets.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Techware Hut provides us with UI/UX design and custom software development services that include mobile apps. We started the project with preliminary discussions about our intent and target market.

Techware Hut then moved to developing our software from scratch, implementing functionalities such as a data aggregation system and an admin console that leverages third-party data aggregation tools. They’re also implementing an affinity marketing feature for the real estate space and those in need of financial counseling.

Moreover, the team utilizes PHP, Python, and Swift, with the platform's requirement being agnostic for iOS and Android deployment. Part of the team’s responsibility is designing mockups in multiple UI/UX languages

My main point of contact is the project manager.

We did our due diligence and went through several vendors with similar backgrounds in mobile app development. We chose Techware Hut because of their multiple customer finance tools and solutions.

Our ongoing partnership started in January 2022.

We review our product roadmap to make sure the development, milestones, and quality are all aligned as our measure of success. They’re able to resolve bugs and issues throughout the development and make sure our project is progressing smoothly.

The team performs well from a project management perspective, as they respect our deadlines and budget. We typically communicate through phone, email, and Zoom.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with the team’s ability to turn around technical issues and flexible development solutions. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could be more anticipatory when it comes to securing and executing contracts.

I would advise you to be more upfront with your expectations and provide them with as many materials as you can to get the most out of your partnership. The team is highly professional, and they’ll provide you with feedback to leverage your development project.
