I searched for specialists in the required field and took recommendations. I discussed my needs with Techseria and they satisfied me that they would be able to deliver on my requirements.

I needed a social media app to be of similar appearance and functionality to be available in the App Store and Play Store. Key functionality and appearance of the app was discussed with Techseria. it was then developed and put through several rounds of testing.

Within a few months, Techseria had a marketable app available for users to download and put into use.

The project management were always available for Zoom discussions. They were open to feedback and were keen to make their own recommendations.

Having access to such experienced developers at such excellent value for money is what impressed me most.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Based on the many stories of failed outsourcing ventures from other tech companies and start-ups in Singapore, we were extremely cautious in our selection. We only approached Techseria based on a recommendation and introduction.

We approached Techseria with our initial and comprehensive specification and requirement. This requirement was worked through with them, through a detailed scoping experience. Our first project covered a 3 Months development. From them onwards we have continued working with them as virtually our internal development-team.

Some elasticity has always been there but our continuous team consist of iOS developer, Android developer, data-base/server-side developer and Project Manager.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have gone from 'an idea', to MVP and over the last few years, 'Commercial solution/s'. We are considered one of the leading solutions within our segment in Singapore. Our uptime is in the high 98-99% range.

Due to the close collaboration and continous developments, communication is virtually on a daily basis. All usability-testing done by us in Singapore whereas all development-management left with Techseria. Most projects delivered on time but occasional have happened for non-critical releases. We have also ensured to meet face-to-face at least once/year.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Low rate of bugs in the solutions released, combined with quick resolution, if problems have occurred.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Communications (feedback/responses) can always be improved upon:) To improve would be Techseria's ability (transparency) to admit any shortcomings when some development-side problem occurred.

I am one of the directors at Earwig Academic Reporting Ltd. Earwig is a small company supplying software to the UK education market, specifically the Special Needs sector.

Teachers use our mobile app to collect and upload teaching evidence, whilst on the go in the classroom. Our previous app developer had not really supported the app and was not interested in developing the update. I had previously hired Techseria for another project, not mobile app related, and they had proved reliable, capable and reasonable.

What were your goals for this project?

We need to swiftly create, test and launch the mobile app in time for the start of the new school year. Techseria thoroughly tested the app, liaising with our own technical team to ensure that bugs were quickly squashed.

We are so happy woth Techseria's app that we are in the process of developing a second app, whiprovide support for day-to-day maintenance of our system.

Regular contact by email with the occasional Teams/Hangouts call if required. At no time were we left waiting for response to any requests.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Techseria is polite, thorough, technically capable, and reasonably priced!

We want to test their breadth of support to see if we can find any weaknesses!

They were able to accommodate any IT project from various programming languages and frameworks. They even take care of underlying IT services like infrastructure, so you never need to look for multiple companies for your IT projects and worry about collaborating together.

I wouldn't say so, they provided well-rounded, throughout services for their clients.

I’m the managing director of a virtual studio and data center.

What challenge were you trying to address with Techseria?

I’ve been working with them for ten years on a variety of software projects.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Most of what we’ve done with them over the years has been building various websites and mobile applications, and we’ve also dabbled in artificial intelligence. Currently, we’re building up a core number of resources in India that will be dedicated to a number of projects in our data center.

The internet has evolved a lot over the course of our working together, so we’ve used a number of technologies. They know their way around a variety of different software programs — they’re not technically limited in any way. The same is true on the app side; all the apps we’ve created have been for iOS and Android.

We’ve come up with different subject matter areas and verticals we want to build apps for and then dealt with various issues in terms of what we want them to do, our target audience, e-commerce capabilities, and more. They certainly play a role in designing those things, ensuring user-friendliness.

What is the team composition?

I have a long-standing relationship with Niraj (Managing Director), and I’m working currently with Bharat (Digital Marketer). Everyone I’ve worked with has been very collaborative, proactive, and supportive.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since January 2011.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The success or lack of success on projects we’ve put together with them isn’t a reflection of their quality. For example, a few years ago, we had them develop an app to send us into the used car market but we decided not to pursue it. It was a really cool app, but, as a company, we decided the service was going to be too difficult to pursue.

They spend a lot of time discussing with us how to make the platforms user-friendly. Whenever we build something together, they do a good job.

How did Techseria perform from a project management standpoint?

We’ve used different tools over the years. One time, our company started using Unity and they jumped on learning the basics right away.

I send them on all kinds of searches for media. There’s a wide variety of tasks I send over to them and they accomplish them. At the same time, I’ll send them something that needs to be fixed and they’ll fix it. They handle whatever I ask them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

First of all, ten years have gone by and they're still in business. Lots of people come and go in technology, but Techseria’s knowledge base and sophistication are growing. They’ve taken advantage of the various products that have been sent to them, and they’ve learned a lot. They’re in a position where they understand US markets more and more every year, and we ask Techseria for advice on the Indian market. They’re competent and focused — hardworking and skilled at problem-solving.

Are there any areas they could improve?

To be fair to everyone, technology continues to accelerate, so I would say that they should continue to pay attention to that acceleration. As we go forward with them and build out a good-sized team (a few dozen people), I believe they'll be up to that. Everyone who is serious about excellence is always trying to improve, and Techseria is very self-aware.

I try to do business with people I like, and this is the case with Techseria. They’re very personable.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It’s the same with any technology service company: be as clear and focused as you can going in so that no one gets frustrated. They’re great people, but they're not mindreaders. We’ve been vaguer at times, and they’ve still helped us shape our projects, however.

I’m an electrical engineer that runs three companies. The COVID-19 pandemic has been difficult, but our small companies are surviving.

I had an idea for an e-trade website where manufacturers and traders from all around the world could meet up and do some business together, either B2B and B2C.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Techseria is developing my site and app for Android and iOS. The platforms will allow clients to load product descriptions, prices, pictures, and related documents. They will have a main page where they’ll be able to adjust the prices.

What is the team composition?

Including Niraj (Managing Director), I’ve worked with 6–7 people from Techseria across the mobile, web, and backend sides.

How did you come to work with Techseria?

Once I came up with the idea, I started looking for companies that could build it. I’m an engineer, but not an IT person.

I met with Techseria and discussed the details of what we could do and how we could do it. We had discussions over a period of 3 to 4 months, and we drafted up a contract.

I have a few LinkedIn connections through my London company, and I got in touch with Niraj there. We started to chat about my idea, first on LinkedIn and then across several phone and video calls.

We agreed on a project layout, and they started from there.

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with Techseria in February 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’m still testing the platform, but I’m happy with the results so far. The project is planned to be completed by the summer of 2021.

The parts I’ve tested are working fine, and Techseria is providing good support. They’re a good company, and I’m sure that they could satisfy the needs of any other customer.

How did Techseria perform from a project management standpoint?

Whenever I send them an email, I get an immediate response. They’ve met deadlines, even though we’re living in difficult times.

People are mainly working from home, and it’s not easy to gather them into one point. Still, it was quite fine. They put in the maximum effort to meet the deadlines.

I’ve worked with two project managers from Techseria, and both were quite understanding and supportive.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m impressed with their business understanding. They’re results-oriented rather than having a money-oriented attitude.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’d like to see them grow, work with more customers, and become a global company. I’m not a programming expert, but I think that Techseria is doing well in this area. They should continue improving themselves and adapting to the changing business world.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They’re not a money-oriented company, so clients can easily discuss their projects with their team. If they’re given a clear explanation of the requirements, they’ll come up with the best ideas.

I’m sure that clients will be very happy with the pricing and results.

They do what I want on time. There are always a few bugs along the way but we always squash them. I always catch them during testing and it all works fine.

They’re great at project management. Despite the fact that we’re in different time zones, I always get fast replies from them. We use Trello for project management.

More communication would be good. That’s what I prefer.

Be very diligent with your testing. They’ll do a bit of testing on their end but you need to be rigid on your end.
