I’m the COO of Spark Membership, an operating platform designed to help martial arts studio owners manage and grow their businesses efficiently. We offer tools for operations, member management, and business optimization.

What challenge were you trying to address with Techelix?

We needed help designing and building our mobile apps.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Techelix has assisted us with designing and building our student, owner, and kiosk apps. The team has also helped us with the UI/UX design of our software. Techelix has built all three apps from scratch. The student app has a great UX for attendance tracking, purchases, information, and communication. The owner app provides a mobile view of all the data in the CRM. The kiosk app allows students to check in for attendance quickly.

We’ve worked with 15 teammates from Techelix.

We found them on Fiverr. We chose them because they had high ratings, their pricing fit our budget, they were a great culture fit, they offered good value for the cost, and their company values aligned with ours.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in January 2016, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Thanks to Techelix’s great work, we’ve accomplished the goal of getting over 80% of our clients to utilize the apps. Our clients have loved how easy and powerful the apps are and how they’re constantly being improved. They’ve mentioned that their students have loved the apps and that the apps have become an integral part of their business.

How did Techelix perform from a project management standpoint?

Techelix’s project management is quick and prompt. The team always delivers before the deadline. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Abdul (Founder & CEO) is very knowledgeable in many areas and very easy to communicate with. Unlike other teams we’ve worked with, he completely understands our vision and makes sure his team delivers exactly what we’re looking for.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They’re great to work with; there’s nothing I’d have them change.
