The scope of work was to design and develop the WamGlammz web platform and its supporting backend system for appointment-based beauty, fashion, and small-business services. The key deliverables included: • User registration, login, and role-based profiles for customers, professionals, and businesses • Professional and business profiles with service listings, pricing, availability, and portfolio information • Booking workflows for makeup artists, hairstylists, photographers, boutiques, designers, wardrobe consultants, and other service providers • Calendar and appointment-slot management • Boutique fitting-room reservations and consultation bookings • Customer booking management, confirmations, status updates, and notifications • Backend APIs and database functionality supporting users, services, schedules, and bookings • Administrative dashboard for managing users, service categories, bookings, and platform information • Payment-related integration and booking-status functionality • Testing, bug correction, client review, and approval before declaring completion • Deployment of a stable and functional production version • Delivery of complete frontend and backend source code, database information, API documentation, credentials, configuration details, and deployment instructions • Final technical documentation and proper project handover so WamGlammz could independently operate, maintain, and transfer the platform The intended outcome was a fully functional and tested platform that accurately reflected WamGlammz’s approved business requirementsnot a system limited only to hair and makeup service bookings.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project produced a hosted version of the platform that allowed limited review and testing of certain beauty-service booking functions. However, the measurable outcomes were significantly below the agreed expectations. The following outcomes could not be verified or accepted as successfully completed: • No frontend or backend source code was delivered • No project files, database access, API documentation, or administrative credentials were transferred • No formal milestone reports or completed-work summary was provided • Key small-business booking workflows including boutique fitting-room appointments and consultation bookings were not properly implemented • The work was declared complete without final client review and approval • The hosted service was later deactivated, preventing continued access and testing • WamGlammz could not independently operate, maintain, deploy, or transfer the platform to another developer Therefore, while a limited hosted implementation was temporarily available, the project did not produce a complete, independently usable, or properly handed-over system. 

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

The project management and communication did not meet our expectations. We did not receive consistent status reports, milestone updates, technical documentation, or clear demonstrations showing how the work aligned with the agreed requirements. Although a hosted version was made available for limited testing, important features particularly booking workflows for boutiques, fitting rooms, consultations, and other small businesses were not properly addressed. The project was declared complete without adequate clarification of the requirements or final client review and approval. We repeatedly contacted the company by email and WhatsApp regarding the project status, implementation concerns, agreement, source code, and handover. Responses were delayed or not provided. No complete source code, project files, API documentation, database access, administrative credentials, or deployment information was delivered. The hosted service was subsequently deactivated, leaving us unable to continue testing or independently operate and maintain the platform. Based on these circumstances, we do not consider the project to have been delivered on time or properly handed over.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Initially, the company appeared willing to understand our business idea and develop a customized platform. A hosted version was also made available for limited testing. However, these initial positives were ultimately outweighed by the lack of requirement clarification, consistent communication, complete delivery, source-code transfer, and proper project handover.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Tech WingSpace Private Limited could have done differently?

Tech WingSpace Private Limited could improve its requirements-management, communication, transparency, testing, and handover processes. Before development, the company should confirm the complete requirements and document the agreed scope. During development, it should provide regular status updates, milestone demonstrations, and opportunities for client review and approval. A project should not be declared complete until the agreed functionality has been tested and accepted by the client. The company should also keep the client’s code in a client-accessible repository and provide timely access to the source code, database, APIs, administrative dashboard, hosting, credentials, and technical documentation. Deactivating a hosted service before completing the handover left us unable to access or maintain the work. Most importantly, the company should respond promptly to client concerns and ensure that all paid deliverables are transferred through a documented handover process.
