I’m the senior architect and founder of a trading odds platform.

We needed help in order to develop our online platform.

What were your goals for this project?

I wanted to create a platform to provide clients with the best trading platform environment possible, regardless of their level of experience. I envisioned a platform where users have free access to professional third-party picks and predictions as well as live betting indicators.

How did you select this vendor?

We visited TatvaSoft’s headquarters in India in order to discuss our requirements with their pre-sales and analyst teams. They presented us with a roadmap on next steps, and their project proposal was cost-effective and precise.

Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?

TatvaSoft produced a wireframe based on the pre-defined scope, which was to create a social platform with various features and complex functions. Clients could use the tool to calculate profitability on the live match odds with highly-accurate predictions. In addition, clients could use social media functions to “like,” comment, or share their achievements. The scope expanded to a new version of the platform, which allows clients to do a straight away trade. They developed a new platform that is prediction-centric so clients can utilize advanced tools to predict and place bets through highly-secured payment gateways. They designed a new interface that has pre-game and in-game betting. It includes all the calculations/algorithms needed to understand what is going on when odds drop or lift.

What was the team composition?

We worked with a business manager in addition to the pre-sales and analyst teams. Two designers and a project manager worked on the wireframe, and a system architect managed the framework structure and modules breakups. About 6–7 designers were assigned to the backend execution and module delivery on the test server. One QA specialist did system testing according to predefined test cases, and one developer was essentially “on call” whenever I required any help.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

TatvaSoft helped turn my idea into reality with their creative and interactive design. I found their calm and steady approach to be quite proficient, which lead to successful deployments. By incorporating real-time information from different platforms, they’ve given the user the best possible experience. I foresee growth of the platform in the future.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The team was transparent and effective. Since I don’t have a background in IT, they provided me with detailed information about processes and stages of execution. I found their approach to very professional. They worked exceptionally fast and delivered on time. I was able to reach them via Skype and email, which was convenient.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was impressed by their adaptability and readiness to help. In addition, they took an extremely inventive approach in handling challenges that appeared to be straightforward. They never lost focus of our business objectives.

What challenge were you trying to address with TatvaSoft?

We have all of the data elements for our company, but we needed a developer to make the frontend of our web and mobile applications look pleasing to the eye.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Their team developed both our web and native mobile applications to involve the components we required. We gave them the data we wanted to be featured, and let them be creative so we have the best possible product. I did not provide any wireframes or technical documentation ahead of time.

What is the team composition?

Total, there are about six people working with the team. There was one experienced employee who served as the main point of contact and translator. Throughout different phases of the project, a different member works on the project. Team members include a tester, an iOS expert, and other employees that helped sort out the logistics of the applications.

How did you come to work with TatvaSoft?

They reached out to me initially via email and asked for a test project. I was in the process of looking for someone to partner with to build applications, so I gave them a test project. Their team performed decently and we’ve been working together since.

How much have you invested with them?

We are in contracts to spend about $50,000, but so far we spent about $20,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

I don’t remember exactly when we first started working together, but my best guess is January 2017. We’ve worked together since then and plan on being long-term partners in the future.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We did not launch any of our applications yet. We are in the test phase right now and getting government approval. We are waiting for a couple parts of the project to be reviewed before testing resumes. Once we sort it out, we can proceed with the testing.

How did TatvaSoft perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate mostly through phone and email. Every Friday, we have a Skype call to check in on the project progress and to give them assignments. I deal with the investors, so they sometimes need to fulfill new requirements.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I think the management is excellent in the sense of managing resources. They consistently meet my expectations and meet the requirements. They are flexible in terms of meeting our needs when project requirements are changed.

Are there any areas they could improve?

So far I am satisfied with the work. However, sometimes it's difficult for them to work with clients like me in the Netherlands because we have a different approach to project management of app development than the United States. I think they missed the creative aspect of the development process. When I worked with developers in the past, I would give them data and they would devise a visionary design on their own. TaftaSoft works in a way where they have a list of features they need to include and then they ensure that they are added to the app. They leave the design process up to the client.

We did an internet search looking for SharePoint developers. TatvaSoft was one of the top findings on Google. They provided a proof of concept (POC) and we decided to move forward with them.

We started working together in May 2017 and the partnership is ongoing.

This was our first time working with a development company and the partnership is pretty good. We’re happy with the results and their performance. The design has been very successful and sales have increased in the last few months.

They could do better testing and more code review. I also understand that—working eight-hour days— they aren’t as expensive as domestic vendors.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to implement a security surveillance system to help track activities at various facilities and provide options to take preventive measures due to unforeseen circumstances. We also wanted an all-in one operational dashboard to proactively control and manage incidents and response scenarios.

We were looking for a reputable and reliable company to develop the solution on time and with dedication. We shortlisted 15 companies and met with each of them personally. Among all of them, we found TatvaSoft to be the best fit because of their understanding of the scope and positive feedback from other clients. We also found their processes, methodologies, and experience to be the best fit, based on our requirements. We interviewed their development team and gave them numerous tests to determine their capability, and all their results exceeded our standards.

Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?

The TatvaSoft team developed a desktop and cloud based e-security surveillance system that manages access to our various sites from a centralized command and control center. From a configuration and management perspective, the devices were plotted logically while they were also setup and installed physically, in parallel, at each site. Afterwards, alarm settings pertaining to the failure of the device and detailed logs can be entered into the system, according to our standard operating procedure. System administrators can then create users, assigned a particular task to a user, schedule and time guide tours, manage user designation, manage system settings, and manage video playback views.

Currently, we’re in the process of enhancing and upgrading the system with the latest security devices from numerous known brands. We’re also considering bringing in predictive video and incident analytics to improve our overall ecosystem for effectively managing security risks. They also integrated hardware like PTZ cameras, fixed cameras for movement and monitoring, access controllers for authentication, bio-metrics, fencing security, door sensors, turnstiles, and other devices for automated security management.

The team initially included an account manager, business analyst, and project manager for the analysis and planning phase. During implementation, there were eight developers and two solution architects involved. Currently, there’s a team of five developers who work on our project permanently.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The solution has provided us with a flexible platform for both hardware and software devices. At the same time, the solution decreased identification risks for our customers. It further enabled them to reduce the cost of effectively managing their overall security posture at various facilities.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

They were impressive in meeting deadlines. Due dates and costs moved in line with the scope of the requirements. We found their open discussions and transparency to be a major plus throughout development, and more so within the maintenance cycle. We started the first sprint having 10 developers on the team, which followed the well-known and proven Agile methodology.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The TatvaSoft team dived into the concept and helped us accomplish our exact goals with quality, consistency, and timeliness. Configuring the security components and having a real-time dashboard with continuous feedback to manage our customers facilities was a huge plus. Their ability to work on various hardware integration platforms, design great UI’s, and solid software development knowledge is amazing. We’re completely satisfied with all elements of the services we received from TatvaSoft.

They successfully migrated our old e-file folder structuring website from Web Forms to .NET Core 6.0, completely transforming its look, feel, and functionality. This migration enhanced the usability of e-file folder pages, making the website more user-friendly. Additionally, they integrated PDF-related features, enabling end-users to access our services more effectively. TatvaSoft also implemented workflow features that significantly improved the overall functionality of the website.
Beyond this, they completed a smaller project for another company, which involved developing a system for car wash gift cards. This allows users to earn gift cards for subsequent purchases when they wash their cars—a feature that has been well-received.
