Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the managing director of Med Travel Corporate. We are an SME (small–medium-sized enterprise) that deals with medical tourism. We bring in patients, primarily from Eastern European countries, for medical treatment.

What challenge were you trying to address with TatvaSoft?

We needed a web application to help manage patient records, billing, and more in one platform.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

TatvaSoft built a custom web application with a Microsoft SQL Server. They did front- and backend development and design. The web app helps manage the recording of medical data, patient billing, doctor billing for marketing, and more. When patients come for health screenings, the app allows us to track and record all of their information, including their activity during their visit. Once they completed the app, they made modifications and worked on two other projects.

What is the team composition?

Jigar (Project Manager) was the project lead. There was a distant development manager overseeing a team of four people. 

How did you come to work with TatvaSoft?

We reached out to several companies and accepted bids for the project. We really liked the CMMI Level 3 certification from Microsoft that this team had, as well as the demos they showed of projects they’d completed previously. They were professional and seemed to really know what they were talking about.

How much have you invested with them?

My company spent $65,000

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from May 2016–March 2018.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

From the start, they delivered in every aspect. The team was coordinated. The project manager really knew his stuff and communicated very well throughout, allowing the project to run smoothly and continuously. We’re very pleased with the web application. 

How did TatvaSoft perform from a project management standpoint?

They managed the project in a transparent, cost-effective manner. We communicated in real-time via Skype, allowing for immediate feedback. I had access to the entire team, not just the project manager. They also sent weekly reports and updates.

What did you find most impressive about them?

A key thing to me was the constant feedback and open communication. TatvaSoft delivered excellently in this area. They are a very reliable partner, and I would be happy to work with them again in the future.

Are there any areas they could improve?

One thing that would be an advantage to them is more business knowledge. They understood all of the IT requirements, but sometimes the solutions they implemented didn’t make sense from a business perspective and had to be redone.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Plan and outline in detail to help them get the full understanding of your requirements and expectations. A selling point for working with them is their constant communication and the availability of their whole team.

Tatvasoft was able to take our tool from "mostly used ourselves" to be a great SaaS tool we can proudly sell around the world. We had some problems with our previous vendors where the knowledge and expertise did not match our needs hence they could not finish the tool to our expectation.

Project management was great, I like the transparency and the daily contact directly to the developers. We use Trello for keeping track of what we are working on and skype for calls/discussions as well as messaging. In terms of project requirement gathering & understanding, implementation and overall management, they were impressive and met deadlines.

I appreciated their honesty, flexibility, transparency, and speed of support.

We have mobile application for Logistics since 2007, and we make a new version in the React Native plataform, and some web applications as well and the proeject in React Native plataform and Tatvasoft expertise was mas in a short time 3 months. And we have a very good solution now.

We were working on multiple projects yet the Project manager was very flexible. Based on project need he would add resources as and when needed which helped expedite the process. Their code was thoroughly tested and their delivery process best in class. We made every day calls to clarify issues and our team work so close to Tatvasoft team with regular calls by skype.

By partnering with Tatvasoft throughout our ERP migration we've used their expertise and creativity to connect dissimilar systems, automating compliance and minimising repetition of effort.

Despite sometimes unreasonable time pressures, our Project Manager has been unfailingly flexible. I'm delighted to see the PM's at Tatvasoft empowered with the autonomy and management support necessary to deploy additional resources to meet our deadlines. During testing, responses to issues, changes or bugs have been rapid with honest assessments and determined, consistent follow-up from the PM. Tatvasoft are extremely knowledgeable and very determined.
