How did TatvaSoft perform from a project management standpoint?

They're highly collaborative and professional, mostly communicating through a ticketing system and by email. Despite the 12-hour time zone difference between us, our collaboration is seamless. By the time I provide them feedback and new project tasks, they're able to work on them overnight, so the timing works out very well.

What did you find most impressive about them?

When one of their staff is going to become unavailable, they're very good about transitioning a new programmer onto a project. They catch them up to speed on our business model and the code before they start working with us, so it's a seamless process.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I have a great relationship with them, so I've been very happy overall. Finding them, however, took a lot of research, so I'd only suggest that they advertise themselves better.

TatvaSoft installed an Asset Management System that automated the asset identification and allocation process. The system includes a dynamic configuration to standardize the life cycle of the assets. Additionally, there is a module that stores the asset details and performs regular testing to assure a seamless operation. General features of this process include importing information from a P21 system, manual asset creation, and role-based control of the system. More specific features include asset location tracking, schedule management, a news display, unit type creation, employee account management, asset history, and a CRM platform.

We were in touch with TatvaSoft after the 2016 CeBIT conference. We approached a few selected vendors and submitted requests for proposals. Out of the few shortlisted vendors, we found TatvaSoft to be an ideal development partner based on their responsiveness to our business needs, their excellent technical support, pricing, and customer service.

Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?

We tasked their team with optimizing a custom e-commerce platform where the list of products is integrated into the solution. There were more than 20,000+ products to sort and the ability to apply filters to leverage the usage of it. They created an option to find a store nearby, where the user can enter the postcode or town name to find a store. A detailed screen will show the address, contact information, location map, and photographs of the store. Other features include payment gateway integration, product selection, and purchasing. Each user has a profile with a history of payments that are cleared and pending. Members can log onto the web portal directly using member portal featured in the mobile application.

What was the team composition?

We were in a fixed cost engagement with TatvaSoft. Their team consisted of a project manager, a technical lead, three developers, a handful of designers, and a tester.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The successfully developed solution expanded the usage of the website and lets customers purchase services and parts available. The easy and secured online payment feature helped the customer keep track of payments and even relieve them from paper-based record maintenance. Due to the easy use of the website, the appealing design of it helps attract more customers.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We used Trello, email, and Skype to communicate and stay updated on project development. The overall project management was excellent, and the team always kept us updated on project milestones. We were struggling to keep feeding information to TatvaSoft because their execution was very quick.

Their team excels at monitoring work and delivering on time, along with accepting changes if asked. It is difficult to find that trait, and they were a good fit to accomplish our objectives.

I wanted to create a platform to provide clients with the best trading platform environment possible, regardless of their level of experience. I envisioned a platform where users have free access to professional third-party picks and predictions as well as live betting indicators.

How did you select this vendor?

We visited TatvaSoft’s headquarters in India in order to discuss our requirements with their pre-sales and analyst teams. They presented us with a roadmap on next steps, and their project proposal was cost-effective and precise.

Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?

TatvaSoft produced a wireframe based on the pre-defined scope, which was to create a social platform with various features and complex functions. Clients could use the tool to calculate profitability on the live match odds with highly-accurate predictions. In addition, clients could use social media functions to “like,” comment, or share their achievements. The scope expanded to a new version of the platform, which allows clients to do a straight away trade. They developed a new platform that is prediction-centric so clients can utilize advanced tools to predict and place bets through highly-secured payment gateways. They designed a new interface that has pre-game and in-game betting. It includes all the calculations/algorithms needed to understand what is going on when odds drop or lift.

What was the team composition?

We worked with a business manager in addition to the pre-sales and analyst teams. Two designers and a project manager worked on the wireframe, and a system architect managed the framework structure and modules breakups. About 6–7 designers were assigned to the backend execution and module delivery on the test server. One QA specialist did system testing according to predefined test cases, and one developer was essentially “on call” whenever I required any help.

TatvaSoft helped turn my idea into reality with their creative and interactive design. I found their calm and steady approach to be quite proficient, which lead to successful deployments. By incorporating real-time information from different platforms, they’ve given the user the best possible experience. I foresee growth of the platform in the future.

The team was transparent and effective. Since I don’t have a background in IT, they provided me with detailed information about processes and stages of execution.
