Tangentia TiA Gateway is a cloud-based EDI and B2B integration platform that helps businesses securely exchange electronic documents with global trading partners. Designed for organizations across retail, manufacturing, logistics, consumer packaged goods, automotive, healthcare, banking, and other EDI-dependent industries, the platform helps automate supply chain transactions, improve data accuracy, and maintain trading partner compliance.
TiA Gateway integrates with back-end business systems, including ERP, WMS, accounting, shipping, and other enterprise applications. It supports global EDI standards and data formats such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, flat files, RosettaNet, HIPAA, Odette, and Tradacoms. Connectivity options include AS2, AS4, FTP, SFTP, value-added networks (VANs), APIs, web services, and agent-based file transfers. The platform also supports GS1-128/UCC-128 labeling requirements.
The platform provides real-time document validation, transaction monitoring, error alerts, audit trails, reporting, and end-to-end visibility. Preconfigured trading partner connections and guided onboarding help organizations connect new partners faster while aligning transactions with customer- and partner-specific EDI requirements.
TiA Gateway works with Eddie, Tangentia’s EDI AI Agent, to support intelligent data mapping, format validation, exception management, root-cause analysis, and proactive issue resolution. These capabilities help reduce manual intervention, prevent transaction failures, and improve operational efficiency.
Delivered as a scalable SaaS solution, TiA Gateway can be used as a self-service platform, a fully managed EDI service, or a combination of both. This flexibility allows businesses to scale transaction volumes and trading partner networks without maintaining additional on-premises EDI infrastructure.
