Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the CEO of a a healthcare startup focused on accelerating rare disease research through patient led mobile patient registries with a basis in DNA.

For what projects/services did your company hire Syncware Technologies, Inc.?

We were building out an MVP to test out a business model that hasn't yet existing in the research matching space. We were looking to build a double sided marketplace for researchers to connect with patients in a privacy focused and secure way.

What were your goals for this project?

We were looking for someone that could help build our mobile application from scratch using novel technologies that focused on preserving privacy and data ownership.

How did you select this vendor?

We created a product roadmap and specs based on user interviews that we conducted and market research. I posted a project on UPwork and interviewed numerous vendors for the project. We wound up selecting this vendor as a best fit for the skills and communication necessary.

We contracted the vendor to build out mockups, design architecture as well as a mobile app build in react native with an AWS infrastructure and expo framework.

What was the team composition?

We worked directly with Markus as our project lead and engineer that helped to not lose requirements in translation

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We were able to deploy the mobile application in the app store.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

There was constant communication which I appreciated and for the most part clear goals and deliverables that were agreed upon and delivered.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

This company was very good at distilling the most efficient way we could build out a technology solution to our business problems.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Overall pretty satisfied with the work delivered. I would have liked a shorter timeframe for delivering the product and more direction on project milestones that were attainable in a short time.

He is the only one I worked with.

Markus is absolutely amazing! He brought all my vision to life. His sense of design is incredible. It was wonderful to work with him. He understands what someone wants and knows how to bring it to life!

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

He is very attentive. He knows how to handle requests and collaborate! It was a pleasure all the way through!

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Markus is a true champion. His design skills are fantastic. He understands aesthetics so well, which goes the same for function!
