I’m the digital and performance marketing manager of Faysal Bank Limited, a full-fledged Islamic bank in Pakistan. We offer commercial, retail, and corporate banking services through a network of 800 branches across over 270 cities.

We hired Symmetry Group Limited to revamp and optimize our digital experience through website development and UI/UX design. Our key objectives were to develop a modern, responsive website design that aligned with our brand identity and provided a seamless experience across all devices. We also wanted to enhance the overall user journey by designing intuitive navigation, simplified information architecture, and user-friendly interfaces tailored to local and international audiences.

Additionally, we wanted to create high-converting landing pages for key banking products such as Roshan Digital Account (RDA), current accounts, and digital onboarding journeys. We also wanted to ensure fast loading times, mobile-first design, and accessibility standards that supported a wide range of user needs. Lastly, we wanted to implement a flexible CMS that allowed our internal teams to update content efficiently and scale new campaigns quickly.

Symmetry Group Limited was entrusted with a comprehensive scope of work for our digital transformation initiatives, primarily focused on website development and UI/UX enhancement. The scope included end-to-end planning, design, and execution. The key components and deliverables of the project were:

• UI/UX design and wireframing: The team conducted user research and competitor analysis. They developed user journey maps and low- to high-fidelity wireframes. They also created a responsive and intuitive design system aligned with our brand guidelines.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Overall, the experience with Symmetry Group Limited was highly positive. However, like any project, there were always areas for refinement. While major milestones were met on time, a quicker response to smaller feedback loops — especially during the final polishing phase — could have improved efficiency.

Although communication was strong, having more structured, proactive reporting would have added further clarity to progress tracking. Lastly, slightly faster response times during the immediate post-launch phase would have helped resolve minor bugs and optimizations even more swiftly. That said, these were relatively minor points in an otherwise well-executed project. The team remained cooperative, professional, and committed throughout.
