Sweet Lava is a senior design and development studio based in Kraków, Poland. Our team brings together dedicated specialists: product and UX/UI designers, a brand designer and developers. Each discipline is led by its own expert, and they all work side by side as one permanent team.
Designers and developers are involved from day one, so what gets designed is technically feasible and what gets deployed looks exactly as intended. You work directly with the specialists on your project, with no account managers in between. For larger projects we scale with a trusted network of senior graphic designers, copywriters, photographers and XR/AR experts.

Selected clients: Coal Mining Museum in Zabrze, Guido Mine, Queen Louise Adit, Miasta Gwarków industrial heritage trail, Bagatela Theatre, Sinfonietta Cracovia, Council of the Baltic Sea States, Novacura, Hexeline, Gerlach, Cracow University of Technology (CTT).
Results: the online store we designed for premium fashion brand Hexeline helped grow its online sales by about 20% within a year. We designed the UX library used in Novacura's software and annual reports for the Finnish and Latvian CBSS Presidencies.

Our Story
Sweet Lava grew out of years of hands-on work on identities, publications and campaigns for cultural institutions, fashion brands and tech companies. As our projects moved to the web, we built our own engineering team instead of handing work to outside contractors. Today designers and developers work side by side: each discipline is led by its own specialist, and everyone shares one process from the first workshop to launch and maintenance.
