BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I work for Thermtest, Inc., a manufacturer of world-class thermophysical testing products for R&D, Gov, and Academia. As the Distribution Coordinator, I am responsible for coordinating all marketing activities from Thermtest, creating go-to-market strategies, and ensure our products are meeting the target markets needs.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Still Up Marketing?

We have hire Still Up Marketing to aid with the re-design of our massive website. This was a daunting task to undertake as we have many sections of the website with resources but the team made it really easy and have broken up sections into milestones so that the project had better structure. Since then, we have hired them for brochure designs, webinar graphics, email templates, business cards, and more!

What were your goals for this project?

For the website redesign, we wanted to have a more modern website that had better user-experience to help users find the product or resources for their particular application. We also wanted to clean up some technical information into more bite sized pieces that is easier for the end-user to swallow.

Lastly, we wanted to add a media section for new webinars and podcasts without slowing down our website. We anticipated that this would increase our number of leads by 20% and create more informed users. Since the update, we have almost doubled our lead count compared to previous months/years!!!!

SOLUTION

How did you select Still Up Marketing?

Our team looked at marketing companies that can design innovative websites rather than templated sites. Since we were looking to create an interactive product finder, we reached out to Still Up as their website outlined the technical tasks they can assist with. I spoke with Ivy, the manager, who promptly set up a meeting to showcase some projects that they have worked on that fit what I was describing.

Describe the project in detail.

Once we selected Still Up as our marketing group, Ivy put together 10 milestones, breaking down the complicated project into more manageable sizes. We would receive weekly updates and every time a new section or tool was complete, we met virtually to go through it together.

The team was very responsive to our needs and had great ideas for those tricky sections. The project was completed on time (June - Nov 2020) and above what we had expected.

What was the team composition?

We were in touch with the Manager who met with us to discuss our needs, pain points, and visions. Once the processed moved forward, we met with both the Manager and Lead Graphic Designer to go over the latest iterations per milestone. They set up a Trello board where both parties could communicate, see daily updates on progress, and share ideas/concepts.

They also had another marketing member who researched best practices for the technical aspects we discussed but they worked in the background and went through the Manager. The size of the team remained consistent during the course of the project.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since the site launched, our leads have doubled compared to previous months/years! This has exceeded our expectations as we were only expecting a 20% increase after the interactive product finder was applied.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was almost seamless. They set-up a Trello board so we could always communicate on the latest items. We also received a weekly email update on progress and met virtually through MS Teams to go over the end of milestones.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

What set Still Up apart from the others is their extensive knowledge in creating AI based tools and modern design work. They create completely custom designs for technical industries and found a way to relay highly technical information in a more friendly approach.

Are there any areas for improvement?

No areas for improvement at this time. We were very satisfied with the process and the end result.
